Accommodation was beautiful, our rooms were nice and clean and the perfect size. Staff were super friendly. Very central location.

Just everything about this place is magical. Exactly what we were looking for.

Our 2 rooms led out onto the private hotel pool which was lovely. The restaurant on site also served delicious breakfast. Nice and central, cosy and very comfortable

Shades of Provence is a beautiful place! Super clean! Awesome interior! Quiet! Very nice setting outside with pool and barbeque area! Should have stayed another night.💕🇿🇦👍👋🫶

It did what it said on the tin. I really appreciated the self managed check in and the very detailed instructions and videos of how to get in. I also really appreciate the different pillows available.

The location and the view were great. The plunge pool was lovely to cool off during the day. We really liked the town of Riebeek-Kasteel as well. We also met the owner - a lovely French lady - who was very informative about the town. We left a special tea strainer and an adapter of ours behind. The managing agents were very kind and helpful and couriered these items back to us in Johannesburg at their own cost. This was very much appreciated!

Breakfast was something different. We really enjoyed it!

Wow wow wow! What a gem! Beautiful guesthouse with exquisite interior, lovely swimming pool and garden where one can relax in privacy. Our host was very friendly and spoiled us with a breakfast feast. We would definitely recommend this stay to anyone that visits Riebeek Kasteel.

Karin was a very welcoming and accommodating host. The cottage is spacious with a cozy interior & exterior. The bathroom is modern, with plush towels. The kitchen is well equipped. We appreciated the air conditioner in the bedroom upstairs. Also, a cooldown in the pool on a hot day was wonderful. The location is ideal for exploring the area, within walking distance of restaurants and shops in town.
