What a fun place! OK, first you need to understand that this is "a room in someone's house", it's not a hotel. But the room has its own entrance, and its own bathroom, and it's quite large - like a studio with couch and desk, but no kitchen. Nice countryside view. OMG, it's so quiet! The only noise was a donkey, probably lonely - just imagine that! No car, no plane, no neighbor - just quiet 24hrs/day. Anne and Eric run the place (with Emily, 1yr old, whose full smile will melt your heart!)- talk about a charming couple, full of calm happiness, having relocated to this haven of peace so that they could enjoy life! Quite a concept! Breakfast is included, and if you eat all that is on the table - which you might want to do as it's sooo good - you will simply explode! Fab bread, warm croissants, yummy cheeses, homemade yogurts and jams, fresh fruit from the yard (at the time), coffee galore... Absolutely loved it!

I was in the area busy with a messy hectic renovation project and Chez Sylvie was the perfect respite. Sylvie -- whose lovely- met me at property and went over all the details of the accommodation. -- wonderful working ceiling fan and AC! -- well appointed spacious room with everything considered including coffee and tea service, microwave, dishware etc and even a jar of Madelines to nosh on. -- very comfortable bed -- beautiful property and very peaceful surroundings yet just outside Exceduil with all its conveniences, restaurants etc.
