Great location with private beach with cozy little restaurant that had delicious food. The staff, especially Christo the waiter and the red-haired girl at the bar, are awesome. Very smart, very hard working, great young people. Although the room was a bit tight for a family of four, it was enough for us, we slept really well. Sheets are changed daily and the room is cleaned daily, which we appreciated. If you dine in the restaurant, make sure to ask about the fresh fish options, they are great. The pink mojito and the fredo cappuccino are also really good. Generally, we got more than we expected for the price.

Great place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Owners are amazing people and super helpful. I got greeted with a smile and open arms, a bowl of freshly picked plums and figs, as well as home baked angel cake. How does it get any better than that? Oh wait - it does...location is perfect...close to Samothraki city, port and Garden of Gods. Plus a beautiful spot to watch sunrise AND sunset over the sea. So blessed to have found this place 🙏

Very nice and quiet place. I had to work for a few days while there and I had no issues. The host was a very friendly person and let me stay 4 hours more after the official check out time, so I didn't have to leave work early. He also spoke Bulgarian very well, which was perfect as I don't speak Greek. I recommend the place 10/10 👌

Everything about AVRA was perfect for me. The place itself is totally quiet at night, but it's only a few minute walk into town, the cafe that's open late, and tavernas everywhere. And only a 10 minute walk to sublime waterfalls. The room was clean and cleaned with linen changed regularly. Air conditioning (which helps in the summer months) worked flawlessly and there's a kitchen to use if want and a table outside. And Mike and his Mom (who doesn't speak much english but had a warm smile every time i saw her) are great. Mike took care of anything needed and was always on top of any request. Beautiful locals amongst incredible nature. Highly recommend AVRA and will be in touch when i'm back.
