United StatesI had a huge room with a seaview on almost the top floor of the hotel. The view was a little marred with the building in front of it, but still I could see the ocean, which is what I wanted. The room was clean and comfortable, with good AC. I especially appreciated the fact that they had a permanent key card in the electricity slot for the room, which meant the AC would stay running even if I was out of the room, so the room stayed cool. The restaurant was very good for both one dinner and all the breakfast times. The staff there were very nice, as were the front desk clerks. I enjoyed the pools for short periods of time and there were always plenty of chairs available.

Location was great, breakfast excellent, even with vegan options. This is our fourth time at Best Western Phuket Ocean Resort and praises go to all the staff, especially Ms Tan, the Manager. We felt welcome and looked after. The room service is great and they are very quick in delivering food to 5th floor. The choice of food is not big, but there are options for everyone.

On a happier note, I would like to commend Best Western Patong's F&B Manager for his outstanding efforts to manage an amazing F&B Service Team to handle the daily breakfast buffet and large crowds. He is polite, resourceful, hardworking and works alongside with his F&B Service Team to help them clear the plates, through leadership by example. I have feedback to him on several F&B issues, and he was always very quick to have them resolved professionally. He is indeed an asset of Best Western Patong.
