I have to say this boat exceeded my expectations. Before booking, I saw some reviews mentioning that the boat wasn’t clean, but in fact, I found it reasonably clean (considering that cleaning a boat might be more challenging than cleaning a regular room). I had a comfortable night onboard, and it’s almost the cheapest accommodation in Gothenburg – even cheaper than a hostel. I have no complaints, and if I come back to Gothenburg, I would stay here again!

The house boat was a real treat. It’s really close to the city center and dozens of shops and restaurants. The toilet/shower facilities were very clean and super nice, better than any shared hostel bathroom we’ve been in! The boat itself is cozy. We shared the cubby in the back and slept quite well and fit comfortably in the sleeping area (though we aren’t very tall— 165 & 175). Definitely recommend to try it out for a new and unique experience!
