Charming, quaint, beautiful, immersive, genuine, peaceful cozy, relaxing, warm, and accommodating. Veronika was engaging and provided excellent service. Loved the pictures and reference to the Vals women of the past. Felt connected to the village thru the history of the hotel and location. Breakfast was so charming. Restaurant was superb. Barley soup & fondue were amazing!

Mr Albin is a first-class hotelier who provides a very warm welcome with fascinating historical background information about this 500 year old house as well as outstanding cuisine that he himself prepares. A jewel of a restaurant in a charming village with Zumthor’s thermal baths masterpiece.

Perfect location with quick access to the Vals Therme, which was the main reason for our visit. The apartment is literally connected to the spa via a small bridge, and you receive a significant discount on Therme admission with the cards provided in the apartment. It’s a small studio, but well-designed and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the balcony — perfect for morning coffee or an aperitif in the evening. Highly recommend! The host provides excellent instructions for everything you need, so be sure to read the directions before arrival. We didn’t have a car and arrived by train and bus from Zurich — the apartment is located right at the Vals Therme bus stop, which made things very easy.

It is in an excellent location—just across the road from the 7132 spa, which was our primary reason for visiting Vals. Dimmable lighting and candles are provided.
