Vacation Rentals in Muri

Our whole group loved our stay at Turangi Villas. It was very clean, well equipped, right down to first aid kits and brochures of local activities etc. It really had everything we needed as a family of 7. The air con was definitely needed and nice to have ceiling fans in each room. Manine was amazing, hospitable and replied fairly quickly to any messages/request. The welcome platter was also a lovely touch. We will definitely be staying again next time we come to Raro :)

The best spot on the island. So beautiful, private, comfortable. Perfect for total relaxation. We stayed in the lagoon view villa. Loved the balcony and deck.

We loved the location right on beautiful Muri Beach. The private bungalow setup was wonderful with only four bungalows on the property, it felt peaceful and uncrowded. The pool was a great bonus, we used it daily and it was never busy. We also used the bicycles daily and really appreciated having them available. A few simple updates like brake adjustments and new seats would make them even better and more comfortable for guests. We opted not to rent a car or scooter and instead relied on walking, riding bicycles, and using the bus system. The bus comes by about every 30 minutes, and you can purchase a $35 pass for 10 rides that can be shared with others in your group. It was a great way to slow down and really experience the local vibe. The bungalow is up a steep hill, which is important to be aware of if you are walking or riding the bikes, but the payoff is an excellent view overlooking the lagoon. Easy access to the beach and lagoon made it simple to swim, relax, and explore the area. We rode the bikes to the night market several times to pick up dinner, and it was also an easy walk to Te Vara Nui Village for the dinner and fire show. We highly recommend adding the Cultural Village Tour to your experience. There is also a great bakery, a small market, and several relaxed dining options within walking distance.

That everything was available onsite free of charge. Kayaks, paddleboards, snorkel gear, lifejackets, coconut husk even insect repellent, sunscreen, fresh bread, butter, milk all the condiments. The beds were very comfortable, the location was the best view and so close to everything. Kept immaculately clean everyday with the grounds, pool, rubbish cleared every morning. Well done team!!

The property was refreshingly spacious, clean, with large bedrooms with ensuites (kingsize beds) as well as modern amenities. There was no breakfast provided.

The location is absolutely stunning, with the accommodation situated just a short walk from a lagoon that looks like it came straight out of a magazine. I really appreciated that kayaks were available free of charge. Our morning rides quickly became a cherished daily ritual. The staff were always kind and incredibly helpful, assisting us with everything from changing our reservation dates, to arranging airport transfers, to resolving an issue with our rental car. Everything was clean, housekeeping was regular, and the kitchenette was well-equipped with almost everything we needed. There is also a food market just a few meters from the accommodation, which was very convenient. We also loved relaxing on the shared terrace right by the beach, offering breathtaking views. There is a gas grill available, as well as snorkeling equipment, although we didn’t use it since we had our own. We’re very happy that on our journey literally to the other side of the world, we chose Kura’s Kabanas. If we ever have the chance to return to Rarotonga, we would definitely choose this accommodation again.

Heron's Reef exceeded our expectations, cozy and well equipped apartment, great view to the mountains and beautiful gardens!! We really enjoyed our breakfast and dinners on the deck. Sue and the staff, Meme and Cris were so nice and always happy to help. Fantastic set-up for a family with a toddler, actually liked being just up a path from the beach instead of on it. Very safe. Also Shirley was wonderful.

This is a beautiful little bach, right on the beach. Only a 5 minute drive to Muri lagoon and 10 minutes to town. As a single female, I felt incredibly safe here. I loved reading in the hammocks on the beach, having an afternoon nap on the day bed and enjoyed a couple of late night baths in the outdoor bath, under the stars. The host, Bianca, is lovely.

This place was amazing. I wasn't sure it would live up to the pictures, but when we walked in, it felt like a perfect little beach house! We walked out onto the beach the first morning and saw rays swimming in the water! It rained quite a bit while we were there, so we spent more time indoors than we had thought we would, which was fine with us. We were so comfortable and spent a lot of time in the back of the house listening to the waves while we read. The location was close to everything we needed. I can't wait to go back again!

What is not to love about Ikurangi Eco Retreat?!!! Our mountain-view cabin was a true retreat...comfortable bed, kitchen facilities, well-appointed bathroom, and sitting areas (indoor and outdoor). The retreat is located in a very quiet residential area, a 5-minute walk off the main road. The grounds are lovely with a salt water pool and a yoga/workout studio space. Bikes and snorkeling gear/reef shoes are available for use. If you are missing your pets, cat Possum and dog Molly are available for pets and company. Breakfast is provided every day by Alan, a chef/restranteur. Very tasty and healthy! Vicki and Alan provide a great orientation and will help you book tours (definitely do Oz the AquaMan turtle tour). Just amazing! We can't wait to go back. Rarotonga is a wonderful place to unplug!

Amy's place was the perfect tropical home away from home! And the price is a steal compared to the hotels and resorts around the island. When I return from a day of exploring, I want peace and solitude with my family which is exactly what we found here. We'll definitely be back!
