Everything was just very simple, the place is beautifully decorated, mosquito nets in the bedroom and at the windows, the breakfeast was perfect for me and the host (Marina) was super nice as well, giving me recommendations on what to do, safety etc

The apartment is in a very good location, a short walk from the sea and a slightly longer, but very manageable walk, from the Plateau. There is an excellent rooftop restaurant next door.

Good price, good access to necessities close by. The A/C worked well, the apartment was spacious. The manager communicated very well and was helpful with rides to the airport.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay in Cape Verde. The host was incredibly helpful, attentive, and highly professional, making me feel welcome from the very first moment. One of the highlights was their convenient car rental service, which made exploring Santiago Island so much easier and more enjoyable. From the beautiful landscapes to the vibrant local culture, everything was within reach. I also recommend this place to other visitors, especially as it’s located very close to Praia Airport — making arrivals and departures quick and stress-free. I truly recommend this place for anyone visiting Cape Verde — it’s the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent hospitality.

I like the joy and good mood of the owner. And he is kind. He makes sure that the place is clean all the time. You really feel at home. I also like the welcoming drink and Nespresso in the living room. Eddy, you are the best.

On arrival it was a very tranquil oasis. But even before arrival, communication related to airport pickup was clear and helpful. The room was perfect, and everyone was kind and helpful. Particularly Carla, the manager. I had an unfortunate reaction (allergic) to something I ate, and the kindness, assistance and concern expressed by all staff was far beyond our expectations. We would happily return to this lovely small hotel. It felt like home.

Very accommodating. We asked for a driver to pick us up last minute at 1am at the airport and they delivered. Centrally located. Very friendly staff as well Would recommend overall.

Great staff, very helpful. We asked for recommendations for dinner and weren't disappointed, had troubles with our scooter but the night staff gave us a hand. Nice buffet breakfast in the morning. 1min walk to the sea, 13min walk to the beach, 5min walk to a scooter/quad rental, and a local restaurant just next to the apartment. They also helped us for taxi, sending someone to pick us up at the airport and organizing the way back Location is great!

Very comfortable accommodation, very clean and staff and owner were super nice. Also able to provide transportation from and to the airport, which was very convenient.

Casa Privada is excellent value for money. Even though I stayed solo, the two-bedroom setup can easily sleep 3+ people, making it ideal for groups. The home is clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Airport pickup is available at an extra cost and is absolutely worth it. The owner is incredibly kind and responsive—she allowed a 30-minute late checkout and even stored my luggage for a few days while I explored the country. A warm, stress-free stay I’d happily recommend.

We stayed here for two night and another two before leaving. Situated perfectly in the center of Plateau, I can only recommend staying here. The place is clean and spacious with air condioner. The team were hospitable, friendly and helpful - assisting on every request, which made our stay a delight. You will definitely see us again - till next time!
