Clean, good location, friendly stuff.

Stunning view from our room 904 overlooking the ocean. Bed was so comfortable and we were given free water and bottle of red wine on arrival. Literally we wish we had of stayed 2 or 3 nights. Just downstairs we got 2 ham & cheese croissants plus a coffee and a tea all for 7 Euro! The beautiful white sandy beach is literally right there and the promenade has markets and activities which come to life in the evenings. Fantastic place to stay.

Super smooth check-in with the help of Marina who was extremely proactive and pleasant to deal with. The hosts were also very flexible. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything needed to be comfortable. The view from the balcony is very nice. The kitchen was nice with all necessities included, and overall the whole place was top notch. The bathroom was also nice and clean. We came away impressed.

Apart from the one negative point, everything was great

It was on a nice location a bit far from the center of Almuñecar but yeah about a 2,8 km walk

This is my second time staying at Hostal Tropical. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful. The hostal is a block from the beach in this fantastic town of Almuñecar.

We found the property entirely adequate for a short visit to a beautiful town. The location is perfect. The furnishings and decor make the place seem larger than it is. Well done!

Friendly staff, wifi, and location.

The property was close to the beach and all amenities. We had a choice of two beaches at the bottom of the street. There’s a large terrace overlooking an aviary with many species of birds and beautiful palm trees and flowers.

Communication with host was easy. The apartment building was "Water front".

It was my favorite part of the trip! The location was very convenient considering we had the ability to walk to the beach every day. The balcony was very nice for it included a bed, a dining table, and lawn chairs to relax on with a view to the beach.
