The property has been just renovated. Everything is quite nice and beautiful.

The villa's location is amazing with an even more amazing view of the mountains and Frigiliana. The hosts are two very nice people and they were there to help at any moment and made sure everything was good. The villa was very clean as well as the pool and pool area, and the food was more than delicious. All in all, we felt like home at villa Sunshine and left the place contemp and with many amazing memories. We would definitely go back there In the future.

Wonderful location to the village itself. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Check out time was 11am but we have a late flight home so they let us continue to use the apartment.

We liked everything. It was our little Heaven on Earth for 4 nights. Mountain & Ocean Views. Awesome Gardens and Sunsets! Johan is wonderful! He speaks numerous language so everyone felt comfortable while there. He was full of helpful information on villages to visit, best places to eat, etc. He made us a great breakfast every morning. Nothing pretentious here. Just a comfy, hospitable oasis during a busy holiday trip.

Great location and parking nearby.

Excellent place to stay 10 minutes walk from all the attractions in Nerja. Clean and comfortable rooms, recently refurbished. We didn't use the pool area or restaurant as the restaurant was closed for a staff holiday.

La Casita Azul is a unique and authentic way to experience this beautiful “hill town” above Nerja and the Mediterranean Sea. Be prepared to live life like the locals! For some of us, that is what travel is all about and makes it so rewarding. The apartment has all of life’s true needs, from kitchen to sitting area, a ground floor bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of warm blankets available to keep you warm in January, and a small upstairs bath that leads to a rooftop patio with mountain views as well as the church’s bell tower. For travelers, the washing machine is great with a drying rack on the rooftop patio. We never met our host, but she provided all the information we needed as well as a host of various snacks and beverages (bottle of wine and beers in the fridge!). We didn’t have to drive the car at all during our two night stay, though if you don’t spend a night or two in Nerja, it’s only 10 kms (less than 15 minute drive) down the hill. For us it was memorable - and if it’s not truly memorable, just stay home.

The view from the terrace is a million dollar view. The apartment itself is like a cozy Spanish hug. Everything was perfectly spotless and the bed (plus 2 extra pillows!) were very comfortable. And......communication with the owner was thourough and instant which was the icing on the cake. She told us the restaurant at the base of the hill from her flat was excellent, and indeed it was. ALSO with a million dollar view.The walk to old town is only about 600 meters, somewhat uphill, but a very easy and enjoyable walk through a delightful neighborhood. We had a delicious curry lunch at Spice Fusion in the main square the second day. All in all...a perfect flat in a perfect town.

Apartments itself is clean and cosy with all required appliances, comfortable beds and superb WiFi. But in addition to this - terrace is something really special. Beautiful view on mountains. The town itself is gorgeous as well. The communication with the host was smooth and easy. There is no dedicated parking but I easily found a parking place right near the entrance. So I liked literally everything about this booking.

Super easy check in. Apartment was well equipped for cooking and even had a washing machine. Internet was strong. There is a large terrace and roof top patio with a panoramic view. Highly recommend!

Stunning property in one of the most beautiful places i’ve visited so far. Situated in the mountains overlooking the Mediterranean, a true gem if you want to relax, eat good food, walking distance to everything, and a short drive to the beaches (Nerja) and Malaga. The property is extremely well kept, clean, and beautifully decorated.

awesome place to stay; roof terrace for a night under the stars having some wine. Located in downtown, was a perfect spot to explore and enjoy Frigiliana.
