Vacation Rentals in Caen

A complete one-bedroom apartment (with an underground garage) in a seniors' residence. An unusual arrangement, but it worked perfectly for us. There's no interaction with the residents, and it felt great to have a living room, kitchen and balcony. A great base for Caen, Bayeux and D-day sites for those with a car.

Friendly hosts, clean accommodation (two rooms, suitable for a family of four), quiet environment, excellent breakfast, close to Caen and the coast.

The staff were very helpful to me about having some gluten free food at breakfast and I appreciated their attention to that. They are very responsive and friendly. The hotel is an easy flat walk from the train station. The rooms and bathroom are big for Europe and there is plenty of space. I even had an iron and ironing board and there is a laundry downstairs. It is very comfortable for a stay of several nights. The breakfast is good in a light filled room that looks out onto the canal.

We like that it had a kitchen. The room was a nice size.
