The hosts were great, welcoming, helpful, and glowing peace and happiness. The place was nice, in the city center, not far from the sanctuary but still in a less touristic part of the town, with less crowded streets. We enjoyed very much as well the breakfasts and dinners served by the hosts. An amazing stay. We would absolutely come back here.

Very beautiful building in Lourdes. Lovely, quiet residential street, but a short walk to the sanctuary. A world away from the crazy tourist area, yet a stone’s throw from great restaurants. The apartment itself is beautiful, spotless and in a historic, beautifully preserved building.

The apartment was spacious and clean. Plenty of outlets, and there was a vending machine type pantry to purchase anything you might have forgotten. The rooms/beds were perfectly sized. There was a large dinning room table and the kitchen was a perfect size with a coffee machine machine and teas available. We really appreciated the three bathrooms: 1. double sink with soaking tub, 2. toilet with sink, 3. shower with sink. There were beautiful skyline windows to enjoy the sun! We will definitely return.

The lodging was between the train/bus station and the Sanctuary so it was easy to access both locations yet we were in a quiet & lovely neighborhood. Our accomodation was airy & roomy with plenty of storage and light. The shared bathroom was clean and toiletries were provided. We were given access to the kitchen to prepare light meals, as well. Germaine was a kind & gracious hostess, providing many wonderful opportunities to share experiences & stories. We feel that we arrived as guests but departed as friends ! 💙

Conveniently located a mere step away from the train and bus station, this small, well thought-out, generously and thoughtfully equipped flat is both comfortable and secure, quiet, and very fairly priced. Management evidently cares about their standards, and the flat was very clean, with fresh linen and towels. A bathtub is a welcome feature for hikers, as is the air conditioning amidst the ferocious June 26 heatwave. Management were gracious enough to permit us to leave our luggage, as our arrival was far earlier than the stated check-in time, and offered the same on departure. There were lots of small but generous provisions in the form of teas and coffee, essential cooking necessities, and toiletries, which offset the need to purchase things we didn’t pack and made the stay much more convenient. A small communal patio shared between the two adjacent apartments is a bonus. Very fair price for a well equipped comfortable well situated stay. We would book again.

We missed our train and therefore arrived 4 hours behind schedule, well late into the night. Maxine was still there, waiting to receive us and show us around. On the second night of our stay, power went out a couple of times and although it was late at night, Maxine and his girlfriend came around to check what had happened. And before we left, Maxine left a small gift for us. Overall, a very nice host.
