Vacation Rentals in Kannur

Beautiful view of the beach, on the second floor. Room was clean, and they provided towels, and soap. Before I arrived they were so helpful with arranging a taxi to come get me from the airport even though my flight was quite late they accommodated me. They also provided masala chai and an omelette for breakfast. I am here for a an Ayurvedic course and I thought my residency was ready, so I checked out, only to find out it wasn’t and they were more than happy to provide me a second room this time on the main floor, still very nice, and clean, with a porch instead of a balcony.

The property is nice and even an SUV car can be parked easily with assistance. The beach is in walking distance, badminton court and racket, nice staff, clean rooms.

Beautiful property in the jungle a five minute walk from a gorgeous empty beach. Aparna is the best host and makes delicious food for up to all three meals. She can also arrange Theyyam tours with local guides. Clean, spacious rooms at a fair price. Cannot recommend this place enough if you're in north Kerala

Ibrahim, the owner was so helpful and charming. The room is very clean and comfortable with excellent cooling, we slept very well there.The Kerala breakfast was very very good,and we also had a very good fish dinner in the Choice restaurant in Kannur. It was great value.

Sukun heritage is such a beautifully maintained property providing traditional atmosphere and comfort. It is tucked in a slightly distant area from the center of the city, but for us it was perfect as we got to have peaceful time there. Home cooked breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed thoroughly. The host Vikas was very helpful giving us some recommendations and even showing us around his family temple that is just nearby the hotel. We visited on 30th to 31st Dec and we were told that Theyyam performances happen around new year days in that temple itself. Unfortunately time did not allow us to witness Theyyam this time, but I imagine it would have been a wonderful experience. The effort of preserving a heritage house is very inspiring and we were so happy to have stayed there.

Most comfortable stay, kindness approach.

Great place to relax, very comfortable, great host (who also cooks and spoils you). 3 minutes from a dream beach. Far from town, which is what i was looking for.

We had a first class stay at Monsoon Apartments hosted by Mr. Adnan and Mrs. Reema. The first-floor apartment is spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. We have been traveling in India for 35 years now and never lodged at such a clean place before. Monsoon Apartments is the perfect base for visiting Kannur and is in itself worth a visit for nature lovers. In one afternoon you will spot many different birds and butterflies in the lush garden that blossomed with orchids and trumpet flowers during our stay in December. Because of the elevated location of the house, the first floor apartment offers a lovely view over palm groves. In the evenings, flying foxes wing by your balcony. Mrs. Reema is a wonderfull cook, and Mr. Adnan is very knowledgeable about local sights. He is happy to give you tips for exploring Kannur. Don't miss the Folklore Museum, it's quite something. Mr. Adnan very kindly dropped us off at the railway station and helped us find our train. Thank you very much for a great stay!
