A great find in Ambalappuzha. What a wonderfully comfortable, spacious, organised and appointed apartment. From the excellent communication before we arrived, to the gracious welcome, to the support and advice given throughout our stay, to the warm farewell - everything exceeded our expectations. The unit has all you need to feel quite at home. It was spotlessly clean, a wonderful breeze keep the place cool and there is plenty of natural light. Location allows for easy access to the train station and easy walking to discover the local community and everything around. Then to add to this the host family were amazing, they gave us our space and privacy yet were always accessible to offer advice and share a warm smile. We do look forward to returning.

After the initial hustle and chaos of India, staying at Mountainview Homestay is a welcome place to unwind. Asfal and his friends are friendly and easy to talk to, and they give great tips on what to see and do in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. Waking up to a view of the green trees, with a cup of good coffee is pure bliss. It’s incredibly peaceful, with the occasional playful troop of monkeys on the roof to break the silence, peeking curiously at you as they play. In short, the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into colorful, bustling India. P.S. Asfal also helped us with the next leg of our trip. He arranged a taxi driver to take us to the Alleppey, and along the way shared lots about the history of Kerala and India, tea plantations, and Hinduism. We made several stops and got to try local sweets – highly recommended!

Communication both before and during stay was so easy and prompt. Tushar organised driver to pick me up from the airport and he was there to greet me at the home even though it was well after midnight. My room was clean and comfortable with a table and chair and private bathroom and AC and fan. There was a communal fridge and kitchen with cooking facilities. There was also a lounge with a very comfortable lounger and a lovely covered outdoor area also. The yoga sessions were great and even more special were the incredible healing sound bowls. The facilities were cleaned regularly. Tushar even helped organise my onward travel and he was always there to help when asked. I would 100 percent recommend this homestay as it felt like a home away from home. Thank you Tushar and family for making my stay so comfortable and memorable

We had such a nice stay here! The rooms and the property itself are very clean, they have filtered water available, rooms are super comfy and the owners are lovely! They were so welcoming and accommodating, they even made us some delicious chai in the evening :) thank you!
