The place is amazing, if you're really looking for the feeling of being on a safari, I highly recommend it! They offer outdoor dinner with barbecue preparation, and then a night walk, we even saw a porcupine! We booked the safari with them, you wake up at 5 in the morning and enter the natural park at sunrise. The tents are spectacular, very well decorated and with all the comforts. The shower had hot water. I loved this place so much and I would definitely go again. The personal was really helpful. Thank yoooou

Location was wonderful and could hear the birds all night. Went for a bushwalk which we loved as much as the safari.

This tour was great. We stayed one night and did an afternoon safari and morning safari before leaving. The staff was excellent, tent was great, food was good and the safari exceeded expectations. we were lucky to see 3 leopards on the morning safari and many elephants.

We had an incredible two-night stay at Leopard Nest. The jungle experience was truly unique and serene, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. The safari was fantastic, and we were incredibly fortunate to spot both a leopard and a sloth bear! The property is beautiful. The room we stayed at was quite spacious. The dinner was really tasty and needless to mention the staff was really friendly and hospitable.

Staff going beyond expectations. Nice spot at the outskirt of the park. Amazing food experience - you taste many local dishes and they explain them to you in a lovely setting with candles and a campfire.

We had an absolutely incredible stay. Property is breathtaking with beautiful views on the national park. Staff is exceptional: very friendly and looking out for your every need (eg bringing wet towels right after safari, setting up a private romantic dinner). Food is wonderful and the chef was very thoughtful. Safari was expertly organized, with a knowledgeable guide and great lunch set up in the park. Could not recommend more!

Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

Everything! The staff is great. From breakfast to dinner, food was delicious. Everything in our cabin was meticulously thought to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely recommend doing the safari with them, we were so happy to have Koush as our ranger, he is a great guy and incredibly knowledgeable who made our experience unique!

The property owner was not on sight but was in constant communication. He was very concerned for our safety, comfort and satisfaction. We had a snafu over whether AC was included or not but it was quickly resolved in a reasonable manner. I can't say enough good things about the owner and the hosts that live on site. The hosts are brother/sister and prepare amazing food and are available to answer questions and arrange transportation. Request the coconut pancakes - to die for! The beach is a short walk through the trees away and is nearly private! It seems that only the locals know how to access it publicly.

The camp is great both location, atmosphere, and staffs. The house was clean and quiet, although some bugs can be observed. The service is excellent and the food is really organic and healthy. This place also provides safaris so you need not to arrange with other tours.

Amazing property, amazing staff and amazing facilities. Has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far. There is nothing in this facility that I would change!

The owner is very flexible. He even conducts safaris himself in his own car, which makes it much easier for those who want to go on safari. The safari was very good. The rooms are spacious and airy. Very comfortable.

Udara was an amazing and attentive host. The house is spacious, the rooms and beds very comfortable and the AC works well. There is also a washing machine on hand for laundry needs which was great. We had a couple of meals prepared by his family and the food was delicious and plentiful. Udara also arranged safaris to Yala and Bundala (definitely go to Bundala if you have the time!) and joined us on the trips. He is a fantastic guide as well! And our kids really enjoyed the family's sweet dog. A great place to stay for the parks!

Stay here to experience a mini safari before your safari! This place is amazing! It is in the national park 'buffer zone' and is teeming with life. There was a wild elephant at the end of the driveway the first night we stayed! From the deck we saw peacocks, squirrels, bats, land monitor, different birds as well as the friendly cows that come to the house in the evening for safety from the leopards. Hansa and Sa are fantastic hosts, cook unbelieveable food and the place is well set up and very clean. The beach is metres away and you can get fantastic sunset photos. It is close to the national park, which means it is a distance from shops, we knew beforehand, it doesn't matter as you can have all your delicious meals there. Hansa even got some very fresh buffalo curd with special treacle delivered for us to try.

The Leopard trails at Yala is a luxurious camp style resort on shores of a lake. We stayed in Deluxe tent with private pool and it was fabulous. The tent had total privacy. The room was huge and the bathroom was modern. The patio facing the lake was very private and great for just lazing around. The plunge pool was small but very nice on a hot afternoon. The room amenities were also good. The camp dinner and breakfast were good but not exceptional. We did 2 safari treks with our guide and naturalist Mr. Nolan. He was very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information on the park, and its flora and fauna. It was his astute insight on the location in the park that we were able to see 2 leopards (a mating pair). A very rare sight, It was the highlight of our trip. In addition to leopards, we also saw crocodiles, deer, elephants (up close!), wild buffalos and a wide variety of exotic birds. This is a very well kept National Park and a must visit in Sri Lanka.
