Perfect location, awesome accommodations

The location was fantastic, just a few blocks from the beach and the main party area, but still very quiet and felt extremely safe. The beds were huge and super comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are super spacious, my group was 4 people and we all had plenty of room for our things. Everything was extremely clean and the staff were incredibly kind. I have zero complaints about this place, it was perfect.

The location was perfect. Super clean and comfortable. The pool was great. Perfect stay for a couple or small family. Gonzalo was an amazing host.

My family and I loved the property. We were originally planning to go to Oaxaca, however, our plane got detoured to PXM due to the closure of the Oaxaca airport since there were strikes. As we landed in the morning, I immediately decided to book this house since we were a group of 5 and didn’t know if we would even be able to make it back to Oaxaca. So I contacted the property, and they were able to house ready for us by check-in even given the less than 5 hours notice. Amazing staff and experience given the situation! The property itself is beautiful! It is a very large house with 3 floors + upstairs rooftop deck that has stunning views of the ocean. On the ground floor there is one bedroom (where my grandma stayed since she doesn’t do steps very well) and the private pool which we enjoyed a lot. On the 2nd floor there is a very large kitchen, living room, and outdoor eating area which is perfect for a large family. On the 3rd floor are the other 2 bedrooms which have ocean views! We loved that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms & ACs which are a must! The WiFi was a bit iffy but I know that that is VERYYY COMMON in PXM. Also, there are super cute cats on the property! The location is outstanding!! In terms of distance, you can literally see the sand and the ocean as soon as you walk outside the front door. It’s also SUPER CLOSE to all the main restaurants in Zicatela (5 minute walk to El Cafecito, etc). We did our sunset and sunrise walks every night we stayed there. I will miss this place. It was a happy accident that we stumbled upon.

Very quiet and peaceful. The private balcony and hammock with a view of the ocean made my stay very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great with easy access to the beach as well as to the shops, restaurants, and clubs along the waterfront. While I didn’t use them, there was a refrigerator, cooking appliance, sink, dishware, etc, available for eating in.

Very comfortable, staff was super accomadating. We used the pool every day and it was always clean and ready. We liked the fact that it was on the small side also.

It is fittingly as advertised. A haven for weary travelers in search of rest, solitude and peace. A short distance away from Puerto Escondido’s many bustling beaches for the young and restless crowds, Casa Paraiso provides a “pocket-of-paradise” feel for the mature visitors to luxuriate in its mountainside surroundings that allow panoramic views of sunrises and sunsets alike. The three gleamingly clean pools were an unexpected surprise. Larger-than-usual rooms and the extra efficient service staff added to an absolutely wonderful experience.

This is my second time staying at Mangal Suites on my solo escape from Canadian winter. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home away from home. It is secure and located off a main street in a quiet neighborhood, about an 8min walk to the beach. You can easily access the main highway and hop on the collectivo into town. Daniel and Kelly are excellent hosts and care for their guests.

The people make a place special, and I loved all the people I met there. Maria welcomed me and explained everything really well so I was immediately comfortable with the eco nature of casa bambú. The room was spacious and I was upgraded to the room with a hammock on a balcony - it was a great place to relax and read a book. The toilet and shower, while in a communal area, were reserved for your private use during your stay which I liked. Location was great, I loved the little cafe outside to start my mornings and my short walk to the beach for sunsets. No complaints about this beautiful little place, make sure to try Lalo’s ceviche! Thank you to everyone there, I will be sure to return!

Breakfast was good, service was good, and all the guests at the hostel were so nice and polite. Really one of my best travelling experiences ever. Will definitely be coming back again.

Quiet place with everything you need! Coffee appts near by and a 15 minute walk to La Punta. This area is quiet which is exactly what we were looking for.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was exactly as described - the outdoor kitchen is fantastic, the sleeping space super comfortable and my boyfriend loved using the bathtub every night :) the fridge had fresh fruits, milk, and small chocolates when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. As other reviews mentioned, it’s best to rent a scooter, but that really goes for all of Puerto Escondido. The property itself is beautiful and clearly built with a lot of thought. The water quality is insane thanks to the filtration system and honestly a million times better than what we’re used to in Berlin. It was also the first time in Mexico that we didn’t have to buy bottled water for the house during our stay, which we really appreciated. Everyone was wonderful, from the security staff to the cook who prepared a super nice breakfast for us and Angie herself went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
