Amazing view. Comfortable 2 bedroom Villa with a pool. Very good value for money. Had a good chat with the owner, who is a sommelier. Unfortunately, we took only one night but wanted to come back for more. Even if you can afford to stay in hi end resorts, staying 2-3 nights at Sunset Villa will make a lot of sense to explore Bora Bora main island.

A Very Different Experience I respectfully disagree with the previous review. I stayed for a full week and had a wonderful experience. This is not a luxury resort, nor does it claim to be. It is an authentic, family-run accommodation that offers a genuine connection to local life and culture. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfect for my needs. The views were absolutely top-notch, and from my room it was less than a three-minute walk to the water. Waking up each morning surrounded by the beauty of Bora Bora was unforgettable. What truly made my stay special was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly kind and always willing to share local knowledge, recommend activities, point me toward reasonably priced souvenirs, and suggest excellent local restaurants. Her recommendations helped me experience Bora Bora from a much more authentic perspective. Traveling is about more than hotel luxury; it's about people, culture, and memorable experiences. I left with wonderful memories and would gladly stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic, friendly, and enriching Bora Bora experience.

very good....lani went above and beyond for us...what a excellent host...she took care of the car rent/tour/taxi pick up at the ferry port and she is a wonderful person and we enjoyed talking with her at breakfast each morning....I can not say enough good things about this lady....and yes I would stay there again....and will be telling my friends to book with her...thanks lani for the neck chain...i will hold on to it forever.....best wishes always.....randy

Our host was amazing.Our accommodation was beyond my expectations. We had a washer, full kitchen, full size refrigerator. There are two mini split air conditioning units; one for each bedroom. The sliding doors provide an excellent breeze and overall the house was comfortable and suited our needs. We had access to a dock for swimming in the ocean. We rented a scooter and it was great for getting around to different locations on the island. There is a little market at the end of the street. If you don't see something you need, just ask. Often they were able to make a call and have what I requested even though they were out of stock at the store. It was Awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to re-book if I ever go back to Bora Bora.

It was close to the beach and you even had a terrace view on the beach, the Host was the most amazing ever, rarely find such nice people nowadays, everything was clean, the breakfast amazing and all in all the whole experience was just perfect, would definitely recommend it.
