The place is fantastic, with a lovely decor composed of old pieces of all sorts, the lights in the room's hall and in the rooms themselves are exceptional and give a warm, cozy ambiance to it all and the family who run it are exceedingly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about the city and give good tips about where to go and places to have lunch and dinner.

Just outside downtown, but magnificent views to the city 3 nice pools and 2 trampoline for the kids the owner is very helpful and if you like animals are very cats outside 😉

It was a beautiful hotel. The room was well done with comfortable beds, linens, lots of wood and tile, and we had a balcony overlooking the pool and farm land. The breakfast was great with made to order eggs and breads and cheese, yogurts, etc. There were also many good restaurants in Portalegre nearby.

Great place to stay close to Marvao. Comfortable lodging with ample parking behind the private gate. Mr. Carlos was extremely helpful and made sure everything was correct.

It's a small apartment, with pretty much everything needed. We stayed only one night, so didn't need much. It's a dead-end street, so no through traffic. Very private.

Everything..We booked the hotel so we could be able to travel to Valencia de Alcántara, Spain (my mom's hometown) which was having it's annual Festivity and Fairs. The hotel was just perfect. 12 kms away, In a very tranquile town, with everything we needed to have a relaxing few days. I will highly recommend it. And next year we will definitely book there again!!

The hosts were very helpful—they found a place for me to store and charge my bike, suggested a circular route to cycle to Marvao and see some lovely countryside and towns. The rooms are simple but large, cleaned daily, and have everything you need.

Clean, spacious and quiet location close to town. Wonderful host who was generous with produce from her property and always helpful.

Apartment is charming. Spacious, airy, beautiful light and views from many windows. Furniture is comfortable, wifi is fast. Owner, Dora, is delightful. Fridge and pantry stocked with food. The bar/restaurant downstairs is also a gem.

It is located in the old town, had air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen and a sitting room with sofa bed.
