The location is in the countryside (easily seen by the road since the tiles on the roof of the main building spell the farm name !), with some animal farm around (horses, poneys, goat, donkeys) which is always nice for adults and children alike! The apartment we had (two bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet, a toilet room and a terrace) was spick and span, big and comfortable. It would have been able to host 6 persons (while we were only two plus a two years old). The breakfast was very good with mostly products of the farm and so was the dinner. Nice playground outside and inside ! 10-15 minutes from Prostojna cave, 20 from Predjama Castle, 20 minutes from Skocjan cave. Staff very helpful and friendly, and part of the big family which runs it. If we go back to the region we would be glad to come back!

Our one-night stay at Posestvo Rouna in the Vipava Valley was nothing short of exceptional. We particularly enjoyed tasting the estate’s own wines, which added a personal and authentic touch to the experience. It’s clear that great pride and care go into every aspect of the property, from the wine to the guest experience. In every sense, our stay exceeded expectations. Posestvo Rouna offers a rare combination of understated luxury, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable location. Super room! Robi, the owner, quickly appeared and showed me in—a very nice, clean and comfortable room. Super quiet location (the restaurant under the room was closed the night I stayed). Located on the edge of a quiet village along the Trans European cycling route, it is a nice calm place to stay the night. Big garden to relax and enjoy the views. The room is compact but clean. The host was also able to prepare a simple pizza dinner and breakfast for us.

Super cute apartment in a lovely, calm area with great nature all around. Very friendly and helpful host. Exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Bonus points: you can buy honey from the bees the owner keeps in the garden

Location nearby the highway. Breckfast was good. Parking has free places.
