I'm Urban running our tourist farm with the help of my mom Judita and father Jože (missing on the picture). I'm in charge of pretty much everything, my mom is cooking great local food, and father is in charge of animals, keeping guests warm and telling you local history.
If you are interested you can join me on a run, hitting the outdoor gym, picking up mushrooms in the season or playing chess in the evening on the pro level.
Property info
We are Tourist farm Strle located in the beautiful and peaceful village of Osredek in the middle of nature. At our place, you can experience all the benefits of living in the countryside from peace, hiking, and biking in nature and enjoying in home-prepared and local eco cuisine.
The hosts (3 of us) are living on the ground floor all the time, the first and second floor is reserved for the guests. Both have their kitchen with the dining room and board game room. In other buildings, we have a larger dining/conference/party room with a bar and outdoor terrace.
Neighborhood info
Surrounded by nature and being in the Natura 2000 zone we are a great place for flora and fauna enthusiasts. With many hiking trails, you can explore the area of Iška and Zala rivers with nearby hills Krim and Mokrc. With zero traffic in the village, these are the perfect conditions for going on stress relife run or doing yoga and enjoying the peace of nature.
Nearby you can visit water cave Križna jama, castle Grad Snežnik, Cerknica lake with surrounding and Rakov Škocjan. A bit furder away (1 hour of drive) you can visit Postojna cave with Predjama castle, UNESCO heritage Škocjan caves, and beautiful capital Ljubljana.
