We booked this at the very last minute while driving through town during the off season. We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and clean. The decor was very comfortable. We had a nice view of the country. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. Checkout was easy. And there was plenty of parking on site.

The Pira hotel is actually in the middle of a village close to Postoina, so it is recommended to have a transport. Very calm and clean place. I am sorry we couldn't check the Pira restaurant but judging by the quality of the hotel it is supposed to also be a little gem. Our room was spacious, clean, warm enough for the winter season, well equipped. The staff is friendly and ready to support. Breakfast is also nice with an accent on local products.

Absolutely recomendable. What we've like the most is the price. Not that its cheap, no hotel in Slovenia is cheap, but the price is clean and ok. No additional taxes, overpriced fees for parking, pets..., which is a miracle to find in Slovenia. (once we were charged 5e a day for using a refrigirator in room). Usually you need to increase the main prise by at least 30% but here in Mantova, no hidden expences. You even get 10% off for dinner. Other than that, newly renovated rooms are really beautiful, with nice, relaxing colors, clean, tastefully decorated... 4star room at its best. Food is also good and personel was really nice.
