This place is beautiful, the view on the mountains and the rice fields is amazing, I loved it so much, I could stay for hours just looking at it. The family is very nice and kind, they cook delicious meals for dinner with a lot of variety. The rooms are clean and large. I stayed in the family room and the double room, the windows of the family room are so large, it is like wakening up in the middle of the rice fields, what a nice sensation!

Homestay is more than staying at the home of the hoist but being treated like a family member. Vinh is a strong and wonderful woman who runs the Hakuna Matata Homestay in Mai Chau. Before I came, she organized the transportation and arranged a two days tour for me. Everything was so well organized that I didn't have to worry about anything. The room is very spacious and clean. As a city person in Asia, I need not worry about the air-conditioning, WiFi, everything worked very well. Upon arrival, Vinh showed me the beautiful area nearby. With the bikes they provided, cycling around the rice fields were really awesome. The meals cooked by Huang were terrific and tasty. They were so family-meals and made me recall the meals cooked by my family when I was a kid. The tours arranged by Vinh to the Mai Chau waterfalls and Pu Luong were great. The trips were by motorbike and the experience were great. All in all, Vinh runs the homestay so well with her family and staff. Great hospitality, spontaneous, hazzle free, family-like relationship with the guests. They set a good standard for Homestay 😄🥰

You're spoiled for choice in Mai Chau, but I can't imagine better value than this homestay. The owner's family are lovely, friendly and helpful but unobtrusive and open about recommendations to other businesses. It's well-located in town and a short walk to paths through the rice paddies. Thoughtfully laid out for maximum privacy and convenience. The home-cooked vegetarian dinners were stunning and a total feast at 100k per person. Lots of nice details and gorgeous decor made it a great place to return to after exploring the area.

Its in the middle of a small village, no other tourist but us in the area, very beautiful The family that hosts us are the kindest and lovely, helping us with our every need They offer different activities We had a traditional dinner with them at their house (Thai family) And went on a trekk around the village (about 7-8 km) between the rice fields (viewings local workers and helping them for a bit) And an amazing lake (Ho Xam Tang) Every meal was cooked especially for us and tasted good (we had 3 meals a day at the homestay)
