Great location for a bikepacking trip and the people were very accommodating. Off the beaten path. Bathrooms are shared. Everything is extremely rustic. Don’t expect any privacy and nobody speaks English. None of these things were negatives for...

The homestay and the rooms are very beautiful. Basic and traditional but well-finished (the private balcony is very pretty). The family is very nice and breakfast was also good.

In a beautiful little village, the houses feel authentic and lovely. I had my own little balcony with a peaceful view of the stream and bamboo groves. The hosts spoke limited English but were very kind and attentive.

I am the second daughter-in-law in the family of Muong Bi Homestay. I did not receive formal training to become a tourism industry employee. But I have been taking many training courses on CBT. And as soon as I started supporting my parents-in-law to welcome guests at Muong Bi homestay, I loved this job. My husband, my parents-in-law, my sisters-in-law and many other villagers were always ready to help me with this work. Therefore, I always have the excitement and abundant energy to bring you the best service. Revealing to you that the food that my sister and I cooked for you here is always delicious. While you're here, please find some time to sit down and talk to my father-in-law. You will be amazed at his knowledge of the history and culture of this village in particular and the Muong people in general. He is also a very ingenious person. He knows everything about what belongs to the tradition of Muong people in our village such as: knitting bamboo baskets, weaving cloths, raising animals and cultivating ...

Neighborhood info

The Luy Ai village is where our house is located. This is an ancient village of Muong people in Vietnam, which represents a true slow, peaceful lifestyle that you cannot find in the city or in any other tourist area. The scenery and people here are very rustic, simple and sincere. Coming here, you will feel peaceful and happy. Our village is surrounded by mountains, lakes, streams, fields. You can become a true farmer by participating in many interesting agricultural activities with people such as planting trees, harvesting agricultural products, hanging out in the forest with buffalos, etc.You can also hike and climb with experienced indigenous people. You can also cycle through Muong Bi field to sniff the scent of rice. Or you can go swimming on the Ai stream, take a bath in the Moon waterfall, go sailing on Trong Lake or Ba Khan Lake, ... During your stay here, you can also take a walk around our village and enter any house in our village, meet people and talk to them. They will always smile at you, inviting you to enjoy the best food they have.
