Everything about this stay was warm and inviting. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. The facility is wonderful—quaint, charming, clean, and a great location nestled in the Alps, near Salzburg and Berchesgaden. There is a good restaurant on site, and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and helped us with our sightseeing plans.

Breakfast was wonderful. The staff, (especially the man serving us breakfast) was very friendly and our family had a great time. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool! We also enjoyed the bowling alley located at the hotel. The views from our window were spectacular! The location is perfect for a drive to Eagles Nest. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Customer service, cleanliness and view.

We are tremendously grateful to Mr. Wimmer and his family for the warm reception and the comfort we experienced during our stay. Everything about Kailgut was great. We enjoyed the location: it's close to Salzburg Untersbergbahn, grocery stores and a gas station; with that, it's in a quiet neighborhood. It was great to have a chance to use the fridge and other kitchen amenities. Parking was not a problem.

Elisabeth is a wonderful host - very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The apartment is cozy, warm, and fully equipped with everything you need. The location is convenient, parking is easy right next to the house, and the mountain views around are beautiful.

Perfect location and very quiet.

Spacious, clean, well designed two bedroom with living space and a useful kitchen as well. Very comfortable beds. Easy to find, and easy access to Hallein while still being a quiet space off the main town.

Gorgeous location, clean and bright room with a balcony, great food

Very nice pension in an absolutely gorgeous location! The room was small but very cute and clean with a private bath and a private balcony with a stunning view! The bed was super comfortable. I attached a picture of the sunrise from our balcony. Absolutely stunning! It would have been even better if there wasn't heavy cloud cover over the mountains, but I'm not complaining.

We spent two nights and it was wonderful. The apartment was immaculate throughout. This is self-catering with a complete kitchen, including dishwasher, over, microwave, all dishes and pot and pans. The beds were very comfortable and it was a quiet location. WiFi was fast. Suzanne, the owner and hostess, was welcoming and provided answers to all our questions. She speaks fluent English and has a warm and energetic personality. You will love your stay at her property. Close to all activities and tourist died in Berchtesgaden. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!

Great location, close to the mountains and Salzburg. There were stores close by to get food to make meals if we wanted.
