Cheap hotels in Mudgee

I will definitely be staying at the Woolpack Hotel next time I am in Mudgee. Perfectly located and the Flat accommodation leading onto the verandah was very spacious.

Location was just want we wanted. Fabulous balcony over looking the street.

The cottage is situated in a quiet street only a few blocks from all the shops and restaurants. This meant we could explore the town and go out for dinner walking everywhere. We always felt safe walking at night in this very friendly town.

Kenso Cottage 30 was a beautiful place for my young children and I to stay during the school holidays. The bedrooms and lounge rooms were immaculately styled and welcoming, my queen bed was soft and comfortable, and my children loved their bedroom with single beds. The shower had great pressure, with plenty of hot water. My children loved a deep, warm bubble bath each night in the beautiful claw foot bath. Having the outdoor table seating where we ate a lot of meals, and a backyard for the kids to have a run and play were also bonuses. Secure, undercover car parking out the back, accessed through the back and side gates was certainly a positive. Kenso 30 host Wendy was very friendly and accommodating of our early check in and late check out requests, as well as adding an additional night partway through our stay when our plans changed, at a reduced rate. Most significantly, we accidentally left a valuable item and it was found and Wendy kindly posted it to us without any issue, we were so grateful.

Everything about the property was exceptional, the first time I have ever rated as high. Location was great - walked to stores & restaurants, rooms and beds were comfortable, had all amenities we could need, nice back patio, and management company was very responsive.

Very clean and well maintained. The full kitchen and laundry was a god send. I can’t say enough as to how kind and professional the staff were.

Breakfast at Mudgee Bakery in town was Delicious, a must stop !

Accomodation was beautifully appointed. Night lights in the right places. The furnishings and linen felt very new and modern. Alina and Mike were fantastic hosts. Their farm is really well kept with a friendly alpaca, friendly farmer’s dog and sheep.

The Studio was quaint, clean and super cosy. We had everything we needed during our stay and even had breakfast provided for us. Donna was a fabulous host and sent us thorough instructions before our departure (she even popped the heating on for us before our arrival as we were getting in late in the evening). Donna also provided us with plenty of recommendations on things to do/places to see during our stay, which was very much appreciated. We felt very taken care of and cannot recommend The Studio more to anyone who is looking to explore Mudgee.
