We went all out and stayed in the King room no.1 (top floor). TV worked well, ducted aircon was perfect. We set it at 23deg. Bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom spotless and spacious! Very large room, clean and tidy. The massive deck outside our room overlooks the park. Nice to sit and chill out with a beer. Hannah communicated exceptionally well and even gifted us with a late checkout (11am). The cafe next door / adjoining the hotel is highly recommended! We had an awesome breakfast, and coffee was spot on!

Excellent location, 2 minutes from most amenities and right next to the town centre. Quiet and easy to sleep. There is a great courtyard if you are entertaining with a BBQ and inside it was very clean and spacious, like a large studio room.

Mudgee has a small country town feel with all the shopping needs and panoramic countryside. Recommend one stays outside Mudgee town in the beautiful countryside eg Allambie - Poolside Elegance in Mudgee Countryside particularly for a group of 6 or 8 people. Wineries are small making a very personalized experience, most with outdoor seating and gardens. Highly recommend Di Lusso Estate Winery and restaurant for wine, food and setting and Petersons Estate for a personalized wine tasting and at Lowe Winery ask them to explain their Amphora wine process just like the ancient Greeks.

📍Mudgee The perfect two night stay discovering town wineries and restaurants so many options and the shopping was amazing, we even made the farmers markets and found our favourite winery in Mudgee Gilbert’s on Ulan Road, Henry Lawson Park a beautiful walk. Plus a detour to visit Gulgong on our way in. Will return even for Mudgee Brewery Ginger Beer was amazing. The buildings and churches railway station so much history. Recommend stopping by the Visitor Centre also. Our adventure was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🍷🌶️

Mudgee and its surrounding townships were delightful, with plenty to see and do depending on how active you wished to be. A visit to RYLSTONE is highly recommended to visit the wonderful YUM CHA (29 nine 99) restaurant just down the road from The Gobe Hotel. The food and service were excellent, so much so that we went back later in the week; we enjoyed it so much. The only downside I noted was the lack of on-site parking at the venue, but we were warned during the booking process. It just meant that I needed to keep moving the car to ensure we weren't visited by the local council parking officers (who we never saw in any case).

A lovely rural county town with lots of restaurants and accommodation available. Easy to walk and browse the local facilities. Had a fantastic burger in the Irish Pub and a lovely homestyle meal in Club Mudgee.

Mudgee is a gastronomic paradise, with exceptional restaurants, pubs, breweries, distilleries and wineries, offering top class food, wine, craft beers and spirits. It is easy to get around, the people are friendly and helpful and there are some quaint shops selling wares you don't necessarily find in the larger commercial stores. Be warned though... you are likely to return home a little more rotund than you left!

Lara and her family were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable holiday. Thank you, Lara, for your superb hospitality. The beautiful farm cottage is clean and very comfortable. It overlooks a paddock of sheep to the left, and the property has two friendly dogs, hens, sheep, and an alpaca. The house is less than 15 minutes from mudgee town, allowing us to enjoy the town amenities like pubs, cafes, parks, and wineries but also enjoy the farm lifestyle. I highly recommend staying at tallow wood cottage!

Probably one of the best NSW country hotels I've ever stayed in. Recently and very tastefully renovated ('Mod-eterranean' vibes). Room small but well appointed, comfy king bed, clean. Gigi's breakfast was the best we found in Mudgee, and they also did an excellent dinner (as does the other onsite restaurant, Flour Bin). Lovely pool. Was a bit hot to exercise outside so we used the compact, brand new gym (treadmill, free weights/squat rack). Convenient location. Onsite parking. Would happily stay again and easily recommend.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions now. This is our go to accommodation provider in Mudgee. Self contained, secure parking in most units - I parked a large ute with no difficulty. Well positioned close to town. Foxtel, TV's, DVD player. It is simply great - we love it.
