Great hotel with friendly staff. Room was as expected. Clean and comfortable. Great modern shower. The lady who working the reception desk, she was very nice and helpful. We will come again.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Sheets were clean and fresh. Showers had cleaning products to use.

Hotel and rooms may look dated but they are well maintained. Fresh sheets, clean carpet, clean curtains, no musky smell. The location is fantastic with many eateries options.

Great spot located beside Box Hill Central. Convenient drop off point inside the building. Staff was friendly and helpful, both at the reception and when assisting with an in-room enquiry. The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious for 2. The restaurants downstairs was a bonus! My visiting parents who stayed there didn't use the facilities, but I can see myself coming here for a staycation with the family.

BREAKFAST * Breakfast is well-stocked. I initially planned to go grocery shopping when we arrived, but the place already had it covered, that I didn’t buy much. The breakfast supply also turned into lunch or dinner for us. HOSTS * Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Welcoming from day one to the end. * They are also very responsive when you shoot them a question. PLACE * We quickly settled into the space because, true to its name, it is certainly cozy. * The pathway to the room was dark, BUT understandable for the home’s safety. We wouldn’t want to reveal the entry points to intruders. Just turn on your phone’s torch. * I love that the hosts have Christmas lights lit all over the house, so it was easy to spot in the dark. It was very considerate of them. * Their garden is beautiful. * Complete amenities and extra supplies. LOCATION * Close to the bus stop and tourist destinations. * The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. * You can also go around the neighborhood if you love having your nature walks. I will book this one again for my next visit to Melbourne.

This stay truly felt like a home away from home. The bed and bedding were unbelievably comfortable—better than my own—and the upstairs space was spotless, cosy, and gave me complete privacy. Chris was a wonderful host: friendly, polite, and attentive without ever intruding, which meant a lot as I was travelling alone. His love of cooking shines through in his generous breakfast menu and sharing a relaxed chat in the kitchen in the morning was a lovely way to start the day.
