You can get in and out of this great hub by travelling on the Skybus Express, which operates 24/7 and departs every 10 minutes. Public buses (SmartBus Route 901 - Routes 478/479/482) are a cheaper but much slower option, while taxis cost around AUS 60, including the compulsory airport departure fee.

The standout facility of Melbourne Airport is its 18-hole golf course, which includes a green that places players less than 60 metres below passing aircraft. The water pressure in the shower was unbelievably good. The bed was very comfortable.
The only thing missing was cutlery and crockery, which made it very hard to eat food.
We arrived late at night and the owner left the key under the mat for us.

The room was excellent and more than I expected, so that was lovely.
Sadly I hadn’t realised it was all closed on Monday when we were there, as we didn’t book directly!
We had a very difficult day, and a nice hotel with a gastro pub and some wine was going to help soothe us. So you may imagine our crushing disappointment when we arrived and it was all locked up.
My first review was written when I was still very upset, so this is a more considered review.

Beds and lounge area were clean and good for our group however if there were other people staying at the same time the use of the single bathroom and toilet would have been very tricky. Limited parking especially as it is on a corner. Close to shops and cafes.

This motel is a great place for travelling workers.
This motel is a great place for travelling workers. We were there only to help our daughter move home into a nearby suburb so only needed somewhere to put our sleepy heads down. I wouldn't recommend it for that 'special night' away.

We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation, it was very spacious and cosy, peaceful,everything was spotless and a great shower ,nice and big. Comfortable beds, very warm.
Had a good sleep after delayed flight!
Definitely recommend this motel.

Very comfortable and friendly hotel with good facilities. We appreciated the air conditioning and the comfortable bed. Plenty of space in our room and for clothing and luggage. Only drawback was the tightness of the bathroom when trying to get to the toilet behind the door.

It is so quiet and so clean. Everything is really well maintained, clean and I felt very safe, even travelling as a lone female.
All the staff were patient, friendly and professional.
The in room facilities were great. I had everything I needed
