As was Pipers, Carboni's and the Yacht Club. The e-scooters on trial in the city were a bit of fun. We rode them around the lake. They are very easy to use via the app. and cheap too."

"Warrnambool is one of the cleanest towns that I've visited. I can honestly say that I didn't see any rubbish on the streets nor any graffiti on buildings. The botanical gardens are a credit to the shire. The whole township is well maintained. In addition, Warrnambool is packed with every store you can think of and every one of these stores is within easy reach. There is no shortage of things to see and do in and around Warrnambool. During the ten days we were there at the end of September, the weather was good but cold at nights. No shortage of dining facilities. We dined at the Flying Horse, City Memorial Bowls Club and the Allansford Hotel (a few kilometres from Warrnambool). All were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Warrnambool for a holiday. Our top spots were Thunder Point, Flagstaff Hill, Tower Hill (where we saw koalas in the wild), Breakwater, Botanical Gardens, the Promenade, Hopkins Falls and just about everywhere."

Good location with plenty of parking. Initially worried about noise as it shares a carpark with a pub but we heard nothing. Staff were really friendly and everything was clean. Picture of the room when we booked was what we got. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Fascinating city with vast variables to see and do.The transport system is amazing and allows for exploring outside the City and beyond. The variety of architecture is most interesting. I was SO IMPRESSED WITH THE FRIENDLINESS ACROSS THE BOARD OF PEOPLE I ASKED FOR HELP FROM. Were from DIFFERNT CURTURAL BACKGROUNDS . There is something for everyone across the age range. Sporting events Are popular. The beautiful green spaces and trees too were a bonus. Many and diverse eateries and restaurants.

I have ski-ed at Mt Buller for 60 years!!!! hahahaha. Best mountain in terms of travelling time from Melbourne, best transport facilities regarding cars, coaches, etc. No doubt our most user friendly ski resort in Australia. Great day and night eating facilities. Even 60 years ago we could ski all day and dance all night. Those were the days, my friends...I went up last week 29 July till 2 Aug. 2026. Facilities have improved tremendously. Shuttle service is great if you don't ski all day like the crazy kids but walk., lots of good roads and places to chill. My favourite hotel is Chalet Hotel. Chocolate break at Kofler's at Summit. Best ski hire is George's Ski Hire at Moloney's opposite Grocer. Best coach driver from Mansfield to Mt Buller is Andy (Andrew). No stress trip all the way from Melbourne to Mt Buller. Mt Hotham and Falls Creek have more travelling time. Go, Mt. Buller, go!

A town full of history. We enjoyed a stroll through the gardens, the talking tram, the Chinese museum and a stroll around the antique and collectable shops. The old buildings are beautiful and remind us of the history surrounding the township.

We really enjoyed the choice of runs and getting to know what is available to stop for "happy hour" and hot chocolates! We had meals at the Falls Creek hotel and the CHOP HOUSE. These were "events to remember"!

Heaps to do, enjoyed the shopping, carousel and helicopter...

Heaps to do, enjoyed the shopping, carousel and helicopter ride. Also chocolate factory near Torquay well worth visit. Joined the library while we were visiting and borrowed books. Plenty of great restaurants/cafes. Fish on the pier a bit pricey.

Apollo Bay was the nicest winter getaway.

Apollo Bay was the nicest winter getaway. Sipping Buttered Rum by the fire of the Southern Most Pub on the Australian Mainland, walks on crisp afternoons to look for whales and the friendliest retail staff along the strip who were happy to give out any tips and have lovely conversations.

Mansfield is a town that has the right mix of shops and...

Mansfield is a town that has the right mix of shops and attractions. We found that there was a variety of shops going down the main streets and heaps of cafes to try. We love the Delatite Pub, yummy food and the cafe Il Saloto, great coffee. The massage place called Season Spa - massage was amazing. I also like the fact that you have a few things that you can do when you are there like horse riding, visitng the zoo, canoeing, visiting the organic strawberry farm and going fishing. You also have the chance to go on hikes and explore the area.

Echuca has a lot to offer Lots of different types of shops

Echuca has a lot to offer Lots of different types of shops Lots of different food places to choose from The Port is very interesting to walk around. I found it very relaxing just sitting at the port and watching the paddle steamers go by I took two separate Paddle steamer cruises and both were highly enjoyable A very relaxing way to spend an hour on the river
