Loved this hotel, the decor, the greenery, the facilities, the margaritas at the crane bar, the sauna and pool - I was sad to leave! We stayed here for the Lady Gaga concert and the location for this was exceptional.

Good location with plenty of parking. Initially worried about noise as it shares a carpark with a pub but we heard nothing. Staff were really friendly and everything was clean. Picture of the room when we booked was what we got. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The location was perfectly central, we could just walk up and down flinders lane for the restaurants and bars we researched ahead of time without realising it’s just on the same street. Going to Southbank, little Bourke and little Collins for shopping and is a quick 10 minute walk. Of course, W hotels always have modern and well designed edgy rooms and amenities.

The room was amazing and the boutique hotel was very luxurious. If you are looking for the best experience and the best room in a beautiful top-end hotel, look no further. We will be back. Everything about this hotel is top drawer and so comfortable! We were even able to check in early and freshen up before touring.

The 2 story cottage was lovely, I loved the antique furnishings, enjoyed the huge corner spa & the open fire place made it the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. Great location for hiking around the mountain. The host Brett was lovely & respected our privacy by leaving a key for entry. The fresh food was a pleasant surprise. Contacted reception and they advised we'll call you back shortly, waited 10 minutes or so then someone turned up with an air freshner to spray the room. Called reception again and requested a different room in which they politely obliged. We finally got a new room and that was a big difference and no smell. New room TV stopped working. Staff attempted to fix but unable to and they requested we use chromecast. Ringwood itself is fine but we were very unhappy with the Ringwood Lake Inn, where we stayed two nights while visiting family nearby. Among other things, there was no microwave oven, detergent, nor tea towel supplied, so the best we could do was to rinse and stack our used dishes. The next morning we found the bench, plates, and those of our food supplies that were not in the fridge full of ants, so much so we had them move us from room 10 to room 2 for our second night. This was a little better, as there was no repeat of the ant invasion. A few days later they had the effrontery to inform us that because we had left the room in an exceptionally dirty state (absolutely untrue), we had been charged an extra $100 cleaning fee, and were not welcome to stay again. This is clearly a lie and con, and I wonder how many others have been subjected to it. I would not recommend that anyone else stay at the Ringwood Lake Inn.

Box Hill was central and easy to get around. The train station was close by and free every weekend in December and January to anywhere on the line. Mall had all we needed and the restaurant BBQ K in the hotel served a delicious meal with friendly staff.

Our stay was extremely disappointing, particularly regarding accessibility. I have significant mobility difficulties and am 65 years old. We stayed in Room 216, and having only one conveniently accessible lift meant a very long and difficult walk. I was also concerned about emergency evacuation, particularly as our windows could not be opened. Access to the restaurant and adjoining gardens was unsuitable for people with limited mobility or wheelchairs, with steps and a large, heavy door. Breakfast was very disappointing. There were no fresh juices, the scrambled eggs were dry and rubbery on both mornings, the sausages were unpleasant, and the bacon was cold and excessively fatty. The fresh fruit was the only food we enjoyed. The minibar was extremely expensive. There was no microwave or toilet brush, and only one sachet of poor-quality coffee. We looked forward to the pool and spa, but both were cold. We could not find proper changing rooms, so my 22-year-old daughter had to stand in front of me for privacy while I changed in a corner near the towels. This was unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The gym also had extremely limited equipment. One positive was the bed in Room 216, which was large and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, a comfortable bed alone did not justify approximately $500 for our stay. Based on our experience, we would not stay again or recommend the hotel. I particularly hope management takes the accessibility issues seriously.

Nice district.

Nice district. We were there mainly to visit our children studying on Monash University. There are lots of affordable serviced apartments for visitors to Clayton North. It is more convenient if you drive. Also advisable to take a drive to the nearby beaches at Brighton and Frankston.

Excellent location for my needs,welcoming staff,comfortable beds & polite service.We will definitely stay here again.Next time we will have breakfast in the conservatory. I would recommend Taylor’s Lakes Motel to other travellers.

Our stay was overnight as we were attending a function close...

Our stay was overnight as we were attending a function close by. We live in Rye Victoria which is why we chose Shoppingtown Hotel. Overall we were satisfied with the room & facilities however the bathroom floor needs a good scrub and perhaps a sanitise - shows signs of mould build up. Really enjoyed the shower - pressure was good, water plentiful. Towels etc were good. We would stay again if necessary.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am writing to express my frustration regarding my inability to obtain a receipt for my recent stay at the Dandenong Budget Motel. I stayed at the motel on the nights of **17, 18, and 19 July 2026**. The booking for **17 July** was made through Booking.com, and I have already received the receipt for that night. The bookings for **18 and 19 July** were made directly with the staff member at the reception desk. I was advised that the receipt for these two nights would be emailed to me. Unfortunately, despite this assurance, I have never received it. Since my stay, I have made numerous attempts to contact the motel by telephone and have also requested the receipt on multiple occasions. My calls have gone unanswered, and I have received no response or receipt. This lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable. As a paying guest, I am entitled to a receipt for my accommodation, and I require this documentation for my records. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and request that the receipt for my stay on **18 and 19 July 2026** be emailed to me without further delay. I look forward to your immediate response and trust this matter can now be resolved. Yours faithfully, Graham King

Convenient location for our plans for the night.

Convenient location for our plans for the night. Easy check in process and the lady at the desk was so lovely couldn’t rate her higher! Room was comfy and clean and breakfast was delicious. Much better stay than expected! Have driven passed many times and never thought to stay but would be happy to again!
