A perfect 10/10 experience. The atmosphere is calm with breathtaking views, delicious local cuisine, and a wonderful pool. The staff were incredibly kind, and the owner was especially welcoming. It’s inspiring to see his commitment to the community. Note: It is a scenic 10–15 minute walk from the main road to the hotel.

Great location to start the walk to Fonteinhas and Cruzinha. I really enjoyed the vibe in Ponta do Sol. Nice bars and restaurants. Very chill place. We had a nice room with fantastic views.

A beautiful property located right in a lush and green valley! This place feels so out of time and it’s the perfect place to relax for a few days. Great hikes at proximity, food is great, staff is very friendly and host you like family. Wish I had more time there. I recommend at 100%!

We loved the location, as we were able to do two excellent hikes. (One from the hotel, Boca de Figueiral to Cha de Padre Cima, which we highly recommend. We also hiked to the crater. ) The restaurant was wonderful, we enjoyed the. vegan offerings on several nights. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The staff were exceptional, answering every question and assisting with any requests. We highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can confidently recommend it. The location is unbeatable, with stunning views that made every moment feel special. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. My room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The food was delicious. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly stay here again.

The best part about Casa Cavoquinho is the location! Waking up to a view of the Paúl Valley is indescribable and so beautiful to experience. It’s like something out of a film. A true gem. You’re also close to some great hikes. The rooms are a bit more simple, but the property is clean and well-maintained. Great service and communication from the staff all around. The breakfast and dinner they serve is also delicious. I would come back here and recommend this place to friends.

Very nice apartment in nlock of flats area which was vibrant with a nice football pitch next door, would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable apartment. Exceptionally clean. Good options for viewing television. Hot water is available. The host was friendly and very helpful. The center of town is a 5-10 minute walk, depending on which route you choose. Friendly neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

Personal is fantastic. Great localisation. Friendly and family atmosphere. Great breakfast to power you up for the hiking tours. People in the town are very friendly.

Spacious rooms, private bathroom, friendly staff and daily breakfast was great. The location was also within walking distance to great restaurants.
