Cheap hotels in Tarrafal

Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Nice room. The plus is an amazing terrace where I enjoyed my breakfast watching the ocean.

Could I list them ? Everything was perfect in this hotel, from the location to those beautiful rooms with Mountain View. And the staff ? Claudia our ‘coup de coeur ♥️’ the first French speaker we’ve met on our entire trip. Language Skills aside, she’s just the sweetest and got great managerial skills. Her staff and her made the stay really safe and fun ! Thats why we stayed longer than planned Everything is nearby, We visited around without a car.. People in Tarrafal are really kind

Best place we stayed on the entire island. No wonder it's difficult or impossible to book last minute. The view over the surfing spot is amazing. The room is clean. The staff is able to speak multiple languages and are super friendly. We were so happy we wanted to stay longer but they were booked.

The location in the very center of the village in proximity to grocery stores and restaurants was nice. The facility looks new and well-maintained. A good and substantial breakfast was offered. A terrace on the roof with a view of the Monte Graciosa and the village, two hammocks, nice flowers, and a pergola were a great addition.

The location was great, with a fantastic view of the ocean. The rooms were clean and tidy, the kitchen adequately equipped, and the huge balcony was a real highlight. Breakfast and beach towels were available at Casa Strela just a few meters away, also with a lovely view. All in all, a very good place to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Charming House. The room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Alegria. The place is cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a real home away from home. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a very generous welcoming package including juice, wine, beer, and water — such a kind touch that immediately set the tone for the stay. The atmosphere throughout the property is wonderful, and breakfast was truly excellent. The staff are incredibly kind, and the manager goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for. What makes Casa Alegria even more special is that by staying here, you’re also supporting a meaningful cause that empowers women — a detail that really adds value to the whole experience. They were also very understanding and flexible with our late flight, kindly allowing us to stay longer so we could relax before heading to the airport. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I can’t recommend Casa Alegria enough!

Beautiful location with 360 degree views. Room was clean and well lit and had all the necessities we needed. The natural landscape and animals on the property was an unexpected bonus. A bit further from the town center and the beach but still within walking distance. The views made up for the distance 100%. Can't wait to be back and experience the restaurant and rooftop once it's completed.
