Amazing location and views, great staff and the bed was very comfortable. We included the breakfast and it was great. Will be staying again!

For the last 3 weeks I was booking single rooms in the area. This one was the best regarding everything. Privacy, cleanings, internet, staf, food, parking, etc. Very good value for money.

Lovely location to stay. Staff exceptionally friendly and so were the locals. The food was gorgeous. And it was the best breakfast we have had, it will keep you going for the day. The room was lovely and clean and very comfortable beds.

Beautiful flat next to Auckland Palace and deer park. Flat is modern, clean, and features a full kitchen with washing machine. Great value.

Large, ground floor residence. Lots of large rooms, and a generous kitchen/diner, with good equipment and excellent coffee! We used this stay to visit the Tyne transporter bridge (sadly out of action, but still magnificent) and 'Locomotion', the local branch of the national railway museum at Shildon.

As always, Sean is great! Super lovely, super clean, the house is well kept! Transportation options are plentiful~ this was my 3rd time staying with him, and I already booked the next~ It's home away from home with him, better than a luxury hotel in my opinion. The back yard is fantastic as well, and the people in the area are quite charming too

This is a lovely house in a quiet street. It is quite close to the main centre of Bishop Auckland, I think it would probably only take about 20 minutes to walk in, but we took the car due to being with my elderly mother. There is ample parking close to the Auckland Castle, a lot of it is free, which is practically unheard of now! And even the paid carparks are relatively cheap. The house itself suited our needs, with three bedrooms. The two double bedrooms are nice and spacious. The main bathroom with the shower is downstairs, but there is a toilet on the first floor, which was great for my mother, who would struggle to go downstairs if she needed the toilet through the night. The house was really clean, with a good shower and decent kitchen facilities. The parking was a little tricky as it is a small street, however we always got parked ok with no issues. We had a small issue with the TV and remote control and they responded to our query really quickly and came round the next day to sort it for us.

The apartment was clean and well catered for guests. Bottle of milk, teabags, preserves and 2 small boxes of cereal were left for us which was appreciated. We found the bonus of an Alexa device very helpful!
