The property was well located for a family event. The hotel was cosy, comfortable and very welcoming. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was excellent and well priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were very attentive and met all our needs nothing was a bother. The grounds were perfectly, peaceful and nature friendly. I just wish I saw some wildlife. The evening meals were all made with love. The breakfast was self-service, fresh and lots of it. Not far from Cheshire oaks shopping outlet.

This is basic and affordable hotel, and but is an extremely pleasant place to stay. It is just off the motorway, is in a quiet neighbourhood, but has great connections with the Wirral and with Chester, being only a 15 minute walk to Hooten Station. The carpark is spacious and right next to the property, and breakfast was affordable yet adequate. The room and bathroom was clean, well equipped and spacious, and perfectly comfortable albeit basic.

Before moving abroad, I grew up in this region (Wirral) and so was familiar with the surroundings. With Woodside Lodge as my base, I was able to explore on foot the lively village of Irby. I ventured further to the pretty village of Thurstaston and then along the Wirral Coastal Path to West Kirby. A short walk from Woodside Lodge there is a bus stop for frequent busses over to Liverpool city centre. The host of Woodside Lodge was very welcoming and helpful about local eateries and pubs. In fact, just about everyone I met and spoke to in and around Irby appeared cheerful and friendly. Overall, it felt very good to be "home" again! I will certainly try to stay at Woodside Lodge on my next visit.

They don’t make a big deal about their excellence, but they are excellent.

Good communication from the host, good value for money. The room was exceptionally clean and Judith was very accommodating. There was tea, coffee, orange juice, water and little cakes in the room. The bed was very comfy. Thanks so much, would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 6 days and all enjoyed it, basically you get everything you need, the room was very clean, neat and comfortable. quite location, easy parking,Nicky was very nice and considerate, simple breakfast and snacks were provided, and she will also check on you if you need anything during the stay, it makes you feel at home. If we have chance to come back, will definitely stay here again.

Philip was very accommodating, and the hospitality was amazing. It's so quiet super clean a lot of shops, and restaurants around the bus station was nearby. They were very responsible when you ask for something.

We had an amazing stay! The drinks, chips, and coffee provided made it feel extra special and very welcoming. Honestly, we’ve never had an experience quite like this before. My wife and kids absolutely loved the accommodation. Everything was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended! Great location for Marine Lake and West Kirby cafes and restaurants. Great facilities - dishwasher, washing machine, heated clothes dryer, iron etc. Comfortable beds
