Cheap hotels in Saint Helens

Modern hotel with good-sized rooms, very comfortable beds, good parking and is nicely decorated. Excellent and friendly staff on reception and the breakfast area. Nice to have pool etc, though we didn’t use.

Near to my places of our visit so it is good location for us

Good value for money. My daughter loved the little play area near the lobby.

We stayed in two different rooms and both were so well decorated and cozy. The staff was super friendly and made us feel so at home and relaxed. We would stay here again.

Close to venue and food available

Lovely hotel been 4 times now and fantastic breakfast too.

The building was recently renovated everything is brand new. Room was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. Our room was on top of the pub and we did not hear any noise. Staff friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were good in the pub. Location great. Right across the street from the train station made it easy to take the train into Liverpool rather than driving.

The host was excellent. Victor was helpful and cooperative during our stay in St. Helens. We really liked the bedroom, especially for its cleanliness and charm. I would highly recommend this room for its close proximity to St. Helens Central station and for its peacefulness.

Room quality exceeded expectations - really good value for money. There to celebrate a party - buffet provided was plentiful (although a bit more leafy salad would have made the grazers happy), function area was just the job and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Normal menus offered good range and reports from attendees who also stayed over were all positive. Pub area also has a Darts Room which is always good to fine. Special mention and thanks for Emma the Asst Manager.

It was set in beautiful surroundings

Very clean and exactly as described. There was washing up liquid, tea, sugar, coffee etc The double bed was extremely comfortable and I got a really good night's sleep. There was an information sheet with any info about the area (closest shop, pharmacy, hospital etc)

Nice apartment had everything I needed fresh bread and milk cornflakes rice crispies biscuits and crisps and a 2 minute walk to ashton high street the owner was very helpful i will definitely stop again
