This is an exceptionally beautiful Tibetan style hotel. Absolutely stunning decorations and with all modern comfortable rooms. I had a room with a view to the mountains with huge windows. The location is perfect if you want to be in the thick of things. Staff were extremely kind and thoughtful. I rarely gush over hotels but this one is truly great. Huge breakfast as well with delicious food available all day.

Its a beautiful property and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Everyone always has a smile on their face and is always ready to help. The property is gorgeous and very well maintained along with a restaurant that offers very tasty food. Its in the perfect location, as its 10mins walk from The Mall.

Great location for some peace and quiet. The hosts were amazing and hospitable. They have their own drivers, who'll take you wherever you want. Another great thing about the place is the food. Most of what they fed us was homegrown. There is no room heater but all the beds are equipped with electric blankets. We were fortunate to go there on a great time of the year when there is no snow or rain. The whole time weather was sunny during day time. They have a small but wonderful garden. You can treat yourself with great garden view first thing in the morning. Another neat little detail that I have to add is that you can get a clear view of the Kanchenjunga from the garden if the weather is clear.

This is a place where the Giants of the Mountains have stayed…Everest, Mallory, Irvine, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The whole property is awesome, very spacious room , the view is amazing with or without balcony. Amazing staff , walking distance to mall road.

Good location, quiet, clean and comfy. It was very cold outside but the mattresses were heated, electrical heather was available and great hot shower, so it was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was practical to eat in the hotel but there are also good restaurants near by. I totally recommend this hotel, great value for money! It was much better than another hotel I spent one night at same price.

Amazing location with lot of beautiful views of the Forest. Also features a cute little private deck with some cosy seating area. Also have a common bon fire pit with BBQ options. The best were the hospitality and warmth offered by the host himself. Much recommended. Would love to recommend to everyone looking to have a home away from home in a calm atmosphere.

Everything was amazing, starting from the view, the room, cleanliness, food, all of it was amazing. Value for money. 😍😍

The cottage has a peaceful and healing ambience. It's a real "calm in the chaos" type place. The view from the cottage and surrounding areas are simply soothing.

The house is neat and beautiful with many flower pots that family maintains lovingly. The area overlooks a tea estate for an added view bonus. My father and I stayed in their two bed unit. We found the stay to be very comfortable. The owner family were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean. The food options were decent too. We received useful recommendations from the host for local sightseeing and our Kalimpong trip.

Overall, the room was good and had all the basic amenities. The location was excellent, just near Dali Fatak, with shared cabs readily available for easy transportation. Srijana Didi was extremely kind, polite, and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. When I visit Darjeeling again in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here. Last but not least, we had an amazing view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from the balcony, which was the highlight of our stay.

From the beautifully decorated rooms to the spotlessly clean bathrooms, everything was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable stay. The mesmerizing mountain views from the room and balcony added a magical touch to our experience. One of the highlights was the bonfire they organized for us at night. Sitting around the fire in temperatures below 5°C was simply perfect and made for unforgettable memories. The homemade breakfast served in the cozy drawing room was delicious, and chatting with the hosts during the meal was a delight. Additionally, the location is convenient—just a 15-minute walk from Darjeeling Mall—yet it feels peaceful and serene, away from the bustle. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I already know where I’ll be staying during my next visit to Darjeeling. I highly recommend Eagle's Nest Homestay to all types of travelers.
