Cheap hotels in Dazaifu

The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The property was beautifully maintained. The owner even wrote a sweet message on a small whiteboard with my name, which was such a thoughtful and friendly gesture. The owner was generous enough to offer three bicycles for us to use and made sure the fridge was stocked with plenty of water bottles. He truly took wonderful care of my family!

I loved staying here, it's a fully private apartment in a residential building in a quiet part of town. The apartment had plenty of space for a single person and even a kitchen so I could cook my own meals. The bed was comfy, there's plenty of light in the room throughout the day and having a washer was a big plus. Plenty of towels were provided. There's a supermarket and a convenience store 5 minutes from the apartment. It's also close to the Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine. I love hiking and I was able to hike the surrounding hills directly from the apartment. Very easy to reach by public transport from downtown Fukuoka. Finally, the communication with the host was excellent, I received all the info I needed via messages. They even let me check in extra early! I hope to stay longer next time I'm in Fukuoka.

Quiet location, walking distance from train station & restaurant/stores. Aeon mall/supermarket right next to train station & few restaurant options walking distance.

The owner was very kind and created a good atmosphere to hang out with the other guests. He lent me a bicycle for free when I wanted to use one to go to a tourist attraction nearby. Good access to Dazaifu temple and some other sights in Fukuoka. Sleeping arrangements are simple and homestay style.
