Cheap hotels in Ito

The hot spring and the friendliness of the staff, especially for our late night check-in was heart warming.

I think it’s quite difficult to pull luggage to get here, cuz there’s too many hills to climb. But the view around it is so amazing and the host is nice. My favorite part is going hiking in the morning with host and delicious breakfast!

The property was beautiful ! It had its own unique feeling, picturesque and serene. Excellent view from the rooms and so very quiet. Simply perfect. The staff were so kind and helpful. Loved my stay here and the onsen was great, I could truly find peace and enjoy my rest here and the sky was gorgeous since there wasn’t much light pollution. Quite good for stargazing. Location is great, very close to a bus station.

The owner was so accommodating and kind. I had horrible food poisoning from a place in Tokyo and it was a really nice place to rest and recover. The private onsen was gorgeous. The rooms were very simple but comfortable and it was an easy walk from the station. We also accidentaly booked for the night prior and didn't realize it until the following day on our way to the location. He didn't charge us anything for the no-show which was amazing and so appreciated. Super nice host, great breakfast and overall stay!

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The historical building and the interior with all of the sitting spots was well done. The kitchen facilities were clean and well stocked and the AM coffee was very much appreciated.

The home is lovely, well furnished and comfortable. The WiFi was fast. Water pressure in the shower was great! I love the little garden behind the house.

the location is great. It's not near the tourist attractions I visited this time but it provides great access to them as it locates 2min from the JR and local railway station. And it's on a local shopping street where you can find restaurants open at 8pm and bakeries open at 8am. The overall facilities are fine. It's notable that the owners pay a lot of attentions to details. For example, heating in common place (a lot of family run guesthouses don't have this), good quality shampoo and body soap, and there's even conditioner (they are almost the best I ever used in a guesthouse like this), a chair in tatami room (which is great for someone not really get used to tatami), clean and warm slippers (I never used such pairs in any other small guesthouse like this), shower room time manager (a whiteboard on which you can write when you will finish using it).

Staying in this hotel in Ito was the highlight of the trip! The room had a tatami sea view and an in-room onsen for just over 8100 yen. They also offered a private open-air onsen for 4500 yen/3 hours, which is great value. Initially, I hesitated about staying in Ito for a night, but after visiting, I definitely think I should have stayed another day to relax and sunbathe by the sea. There's no need to rush.

Japanese style beautiful cottages away from big city noises with spacious rooms and sufficient room amenities. Also the staff was very supportive and helpful

Perfect Onsen hotel. Staff met us on arrival and it only got better. Best hotel we have stayed at in several years. Room was outstanding, staff was outstanding. Onsen was outstanding, food was outstanding

The perfect location for a getaway from city life. The room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly kind. They even took us to Mount Omura in the morning—not because they were paid to, but simply out of kindness. The breakfast was fantastic, and for dinner, there are some lovely traditional restaurants nearby. There's also a 7-Eleven close by for convenience.

This place was so cute. Was surrounded by a beautiful garden and was so quiet and a short walk to the bus stop. We loved it here.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Very nice staff, who made it feel like home. The view from the room is just as good as the pictures if you can believe it!! The room itself is also very clean and the room's style/look was the favorite of my 3 week Japan trip. We notified them that we were going to check in late, nervous that it'd cause issues. But they responded instantly and empathetically saying not to worry at all. Was a very nice experience and I highly recommend!

The staff were so friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. They gave me a tour when I arrived and showed me the proper etiquette to indicate the bath was available or occupied. The bath was a highlight. And the view of the ocean was wonderful.
