Cheap hotels in Kirishima

The hotel onsen was the best we've visited so far. Meal was excellent, room was clean and comfy.

Boss's house is the best! Beds are comfy and water pressure is very good and Haruka makes delicious food even had soy milk for our coffee and really thought of everything for us. Her English is good and you can feel at ease at Boss's House. Her dad is very nice and even played us some traditional Okinawa music. If you want a real Japanese host experience we can not recommend it highly enough. Just understand this is home in the middle of quiet street nothing is walkable so we had haruka pick us up and drop us off at airport which was seemless experience but does cost extra but it is totally worth it as taxis can be difficult to find or guide to this location. Haruka communication with us before our trip was above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We loved our stay on our way to Yakushima Island as a one night layover.

Yuki-san the owner of the guesthouse is one of the kindest and fun persons I met in Japan. Who cares so much of the well being of his guests. On top of that the guesthouse is so clean and cleaned by him everyday. Whenever you have questions you can ask him and he will help as much as he can. You can enjoy your stay and also if you like you can have nice and interesting talks about many topics with him. I will book this place at my next stay in Kagoshima again. 11 out of 10! Exceeded my expectations by far (:

I like the idea of container rooms with private shower and toilet, great privacy, comfortable. Light meal coupons, laundry area (use room code to activate), and friendly helpful staff. .

The host speaks good English and provided warm and heartful welcome and hospitality. He served us breakfast with the daily harvest from his farm. He also suggested scenic spots nearby and recommended restaurants for our next hop. It's highly recommended if you like the natural environment and private hot spring.
