The place has a great view of Toya Lake. The house had a warm cozy old-school vibe to it. The owner was very very nice! We came here by bus, he picked us up from the bus stop, drove to the house to drop our luggage and gave us a quick tour of the main street! He even picked us up the following morning and drove us to the JR station. Would definitely book again!

Exceptionally well organized as Guest House. English (and Japanese) labeling throughout property and in room. Self entry and departure, setup your own futon in room, shared sink/toilet/bath. Ofuro bath/shower is one-by-one (kashikiri), so shared resource but have privacy. Very clean, like new facilities. The owner Keiko is really friendly and helpful, keep the hostel spotless clean, and thanks for the great tips for amazing hot spring and firework. We had the whole house, including kitchen living room and two bedrooms which was completely beyond expectations. Moreover, the owner is super nice and hospitable although he’s not at the property, helping us a lot via WeChat just as nearby restaurant reservations and bus reservations. Love the trip.
