Cheap hotels in Miyazu

I stayed here with 3 other friends because we wanted a private room instead of staying at a hostel, and it was the perfect amount of space for us. We enjoyed playing cards and lounging on the tatami "living" room area (It was two planks with tatami flooring that we could sit on). It was also super clean and when I had trouble with self check-in on the iPad the host was super quick to respond. It was also a little bit away from Amanohashidate, so a quieter area!!

The property is clean and spacious.

Place is very comfortable and super clean. It is in a quiet area so we have a good night sleep. It has free parking and washing machine. Highly recommend if you come to this town.

Lovely hotel with a sea view, close to a shopping center where you can get your daily essentials. Lots of small little eateries in the vicinity which the locals go to so be sure to make a reservation in advance. The staff were very helpful and genuinely happy to receive us, making us feel very welcomed.

The onsen and the breakfast buffet

The staff were friendly and accessible during my stay. I Japanese to communicate with them. I LOVED the kotatsu (I stayed in January). Since most attractions closed at 5:00, I ended up spending a little of time relaxing here. There is a bus stop only a 2 minute walk away, but look for the sign because Google maps stopped me too soon. The bus comes about every hour. The train station is a 20 minutes walk away. There is a small mall that has a grocery store, clothing store, restaurants, and a good viewing spot, about 10 minutes walk away. There is a burner, some pots, seasoning, soy sauce, oil, tea, and instant coffee.

The onsen was definitely the highlight of our stay - so so beautiful. They also had a complimentary snack and alcohol bar which was a delightful surprise. There's a shuttle bus that goes to Miyagi station, but the last bus finishes early (around 1700) so its best to plan your trip in advance.

Incredible hospitality, home cooking and views. The staff is so kind and hardworking, it would be a shame not to reserve a meal or two. A truly unique experience I wish to live again!

The location is the best, closed to train station and a few minutes walk to sandbar and the pier for a boat ride. The room is quite spacious and the sea view is the best. Shared bathroom is a bit small but luckily no one there when I used it. Dinner was great, they change some for my food preferences, advance booking needed.

It was authentic Japanese atmosphere..not like any of the hotel chains, ...small and cozy. The staff was very friendly, Google translate saved my life... instructions were all in Japanese...from operating fan to flushing toilet and find out what the various bottles in the bathroom contained. I had asked for pickup from the train station..it had worked out perfectly. The tatami area gave the room a nice Japanese flavor. The little balcony with ocen view was a lovely morning and evening spot. The hotel is not brand-new but cozy and clean. I did not book a meal plan. The room had a fridge and and water boiler. On the forth floor was an onsen which I also enjoyed.

The house is incredibly charming and immaculately clean. The owner is so kind and clearly takes great care of the home. She doesn't speak English but communicates well through gestures. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet atmosphere—we barely noticed any other guests. Shared kitchen and fridge access were convenient. Thoughtful touches like instant noodles for purchase. Great yakiniku restaurant just down the street that’s open late. Only a 7-minute walk to Miyazu Station and 5 minutes to the bus stop. Very affordable for the area—only $122 per night. We stayed with a baby and still had a peaceful experience.
