Location was great. Behind a small alley, but it is just a 2mins walk to Sunroad Shinshigai which is an old fashioned shopping street with plenty of food and shops. Kumamoto Castle is not that far off too, around 20mins walk I think. Room and facilities were great too. Strong hot water from the taps/shower, and a nice range of food at breakfast.

The arrangement of the shower room with a separate toilet and vanity basin outside of the shower. This worked really well for two people getting ready in the morning. There was plenty of storage space for clothes. The room was big. The public baths area was beautiful and the baths were relaxing. We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff who were happy to help at all times.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We enjoyed everything. Great staff, location, and hotel. Location is perfect and easy to get to from the airport. It is also very close to Kumamoto Castle. My wife and I really loved our room and the morning breakfast buffet was fantastic. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. We visited during our anniversary and they upgraded our room with one of the best views of Kumamoto Castle.

We had a wonderful stay – the accommodation is cozy and lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. You can really feel that the hosts put their heart into everything: many things are homemade, and that personal touch makes all the difference. Everything was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean and has all amenities for even a long stay. Right next to city centre. Car park recommended by host was just a few steps away and cheap too. Host very helpful. Place is newly renovated and spacious. Futon was comfortable. Easy access - at ground floor. Not much noise even though just next to the street. Highly recommend.
