It is located at nice spot not too far from train station and convenient store. Have a lot facilities and feel like stay at home , we really love this place very much, we can cook , do laundry and have a very comfort stay, the staff that i met in the morning was very helpful . Thanks a lot ^_^

The house is close to the train station and it looks really cute. The uncle, owner prepared everything well and clean. He is so kind, giving us advice how to enjoy Yufuin Town. We had a wonderful time staying here. We definitely recommend this place to everyone!

even though it’s a traditional japanese building style, it’s super super clean, you cant even find a piece of dust!! the bathroom is so nice too, with full of amenities, the staff is super friendly and helpful even when i cant speak japanese.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Ryokan Yamanami, and it will remain one of our most cherished travel memories. We stayed in a room with a private onsen, which made the experience even more special. Being able to relax in our own hot spring, surrounded by nature and complete tranquility, allowed us to fully unwind and enjoy every moment at our own pace. What truly sets this ryokan apart is the exceptional care and thoughtfulness of the staff. Every detail was handled with such warmth and attentiveness that we genuinely felt looked after throughout our stay. Their kindness made it incredibly easy to feel comfortable and at home. A very special thank you to Manager Mika, who went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. Her constant support, genuine kindness, and warm presence made our stay even more meaningful. Because of her hospitality, this ryokan is not just a place we stayed—but a place we truly connected with and hope to return to again. Combined with the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful onsen, delicious traditional meals, and heartfelt service, Ryokan Yamanami is a place we would wholeheartedly recommend. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation and truly enjoyed the overall experience. The location is very convenient. It takes less than 3 minutes by car to reach the Aeon supermarket, and Google Maps shows it’s about an 11-minute walk if you prefer walking. Parking is free and located not very far from the accommodation, which is very convenient for guests who drive. The property also has a small mini garden that is perfect for Instagram photos. It’s a nice little corner to relax and take some memorable pictures. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Their English is quite good, and they are very detailed when explaining everything, which made our stay smooth and comfortable. The room layout is unique and spacious. On level 1, there are two sofa beds. A staircase leads to level 2, where there are two beds and a small balcony. The view from the second floor is amazing—you can see the mountains and the small town, which creates a very peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. One of the best parts of the stay was the private onsen inside the room. My mom enjoyed it so much that we even delayed our journey the next morning just to enjoy it a little longer. As a bonus, the accommodation provided a free bento dinner as part of a promotional offer. The bento was generous in portion and filled with a variety of delicious food, which was a very nice surprise. This accommodation only opened on 20th Dec 2025, so everything still feels very new. You can tell the owners are sincerely trying their best to improve their service and create a great experience for guests. A few small points for improvement: the accommodation currently only accepts cash payments, breakfast is not provided, and communication is mainly through LINE. It would be helpful if they could add more options such as WhatsApp. We booked the three x quarter room and had a fantastic stay. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we would definitely come back again.

Meals were delicious and staff were very friendly. Receptionist helped me cancel my nail appointment as well.
