The hosts were really, really kind and very helpful. They ordered the food for us, went to pick it up, and booked a tuk-tuk for us. He didn't hesitate to offer help; he called his friend who works at the train station just to be sure that we were going to take the right train. We had to leave really early in the morning, and they woke up early to give us some food for the road and to check that the tuk-tuk was there. Unfortunately, we booked 1 night only, and it was so nice being with them that we wanted to stay longer.

A unique bohemian-style property, filled with beautiful artisan wooden craftsmanship, majestic statues, and thoughtful details throughout. On one side, our room overlooked a small lake with a mosque in the distance; on the other, an authentic kitchen that felt like a temple. We truly felt like royalty. This house is exceptionally clean and comfortable, conveniently located near the main town of Ja-Ela and Katunayake International Airport. It is an ideal venue for hosting parties or gatherings, featuring several air-conditioned rooms and a fully furnished house. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary amenities to prepare any type of meal for a gathering. Although we encountered some minor kitchenware issues, they were promptly resolved by the staff. Highly recommended.
