Absolutely perfect in any sense: amazing location, high quality and clean place, 100% comfortable, the best room/toilet/shower (BEST shower I had in Sri Lanka!!!) great breakfast, amazing rooftop with swimming pool, friendly and SUPER helpful staff ❤️ - I LOVED IT ALL! I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

The room is beautiful. It is a short walk to two great beaches(if you go to nilewa take all your own stuff their are no facilities at this time). Ramesh is the friendliest guy you will meet and will help you organise anything you need.

We loved staying here. This small hotel is well built and nicely furnished, very comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained, and a 5 minute walk to Hiri beach. The hotel manager and his staff are great to be with; friendly, kind, and helpful. Our breakfasts were generous, and our room was large with quality towels and bedding. The bonus was a kitchen (one on each floor) for us to make coffee early in the morning.

Location is close to blue beach, it's in a lovely local area full of very friendly people. It is a 25 minute walk to hiriketiya town, so if you're looking to be close to town it's probably not for you. However almost every time I walked into town, a local charitable person gave me a lift. If you have a scooter it's no issue. Staff are lovely and friendly, they also do massage there.
