I really enjoyed this property. To me, it felt like the last unspoiled oasis before heading west on the south coast. Viren and the staff were some of the kindest folks you'll ever meet. Viren himself was a pleasure to talk to on many subjects and insights to Sri Lankan culture, which for me, was so enjoyable. The bungalow was simple, yet clean with a very comfortable bed with with a functional mosquito net. I never once wanted to turn on the AC the 5 days I was there as the ocean breeze at night and shade of the coconut grove during the day was perfect comfort for me. Breakfast was fantastic and different everyday with base fruit and yogurt as a start. I didn't have a chance to eat dinner, simply because I was already ready for sleep when dinner was served and would eat late afternoon "dinners" at once of the great restaurants nearby. This property really is a special corner in the world and I know Viren has some improvements scheduled for the future. I look forward to a return someday to see them. Thanks for everything and see you soon!

The hosting family is really friendly and the location is also great. We stayed there for 1 night and had a really tasty breakfast in the morning. Their home is located just 10 minutes to the beach and very close to the mangrove. The family also offers a boat tour with their catamaran. If you want to stay at a sri lankan home, this place is perfect for you.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. Very nice large rooms, large balcony. The second floor has a high ceiling. Very tasty breakfasts. For dinner we had the best rockfish I had ever eaten. Everything in the hotel was of high quality - mattress, linen, towels. Excellent hot water pressure. The hotel was in a quiet location. One beach was a 5 minute walk, the other was in 10 minutes. The beaches are picturesque, huge, empty. One morning we walked several kilometers and met 3 persons. We saw many traces of large sea turtles. They crawl out of the sea at night and lay eggs at Rekawa beach. Swimming here is difficult because of the waves, but it is possible in small bays behind the rocks. Every day we met peacocks, monitor lizards, and monkeys. We were very grateful to Gintare and Chamy for their hospitality. Thanks to them, my birthday with cake and balloons was wonderful. They were always ready to help with any question. We hope to come here next year. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who loves silence and nature!

We stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. First of all, the accommodation is wow in terms of location (you can see the ocean right from the bed); the room and bathroom are beautifully designed and very clean. The hosts were amazing—we really enjoyed chatting with Pasindu. They are very attentive and friendly, truly wonderful people. The breakfast was delicious, and we also had dinner here on both evenings; it was just as good. Thank you for everything!
