The property is breathtaking. Beachfront on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained. The cabana was perfect. The staff are super friendly and kind. Favorite stay in all of my Sri Lanka trip.

Had a great stay at Ibisbird Beach Bungalows. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and both the owner and employee were very friendly and helpful. The highlight for me was the two adorable German Shepherds, they were super friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great hotel, very close to nature, you are basically living in the forest but 20 meters from the ocean 🏝️ you can sleep with the ocean waves sound 🌊

Comfort, breakfast, great location

Very clean and new, comfortable and spacious - each room had its own en-suite bathroom, AC and fan. Hosts were also amazing, very friendly family who helped cater for all of our needs. They also own a shop downstairs which is super handy to buy things that you need! Incredible value for money!

It had everything you could possibly need - very big room, brilliant shower, superb kitchen and separate laundry room - the roof terrace was fabulous for breakfast

Clean, reasonably priced great location

Quality exceeding the price! The villa is spacious and really clean compared to other places we visited in Sri Lanka. Bed linens were clean, mattresses very comfortable. We had a good sleep, there were no noises from outside. Villa is well equipped with kitchen, washing machine and even drying rack for clothes. Shower had good pressure and really hot water thanks to electric boiler. The shower floor even had a proper slope, so the water didn’t stay on the floor and was draining quickly! It was possible to choose from 3 breakfast options and it was tasty with some local dishes and fruits. Owner was very nice to us.

Really friendly hosts. The owner drove us with his car to a dinner place so we wouldn't have to get a taxi. He also came back home during lunchtime to say goodbye to us. The owners dad is an experienced host and looked after us during our stay. The villa was nice, tidy and spacious and even had a washing machine we could use. Thank you for your care and hospitality, it was a pleasure.

We had an amazing stay at this villa! Surrounded by lush greenery, it felt like a peaceful retreat. The living area’s wooden paneling and vintage charm made it so cozy. Just a 2-minute walk to the beach and with groceries and food nearby, everything was super convenient. My kids enjoyed every moment, especially the open space to play. A perfect mix of relaxation and accessibility—we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for only two nights, but got a free room upgrade to stay in a cute cabana right on the beach! The location is like paradise with empty beaches, palm trees, and the ocean as far as you can see. The pool is a great addition since the strong currents make swimming in the sea basically impossible. Thank you for a great stay! :)

It was paradise for a few days. Chalets were very nice and the beach was amazing.

Nice accommodation with everything you need. We had an apartment that was spacious and had everything you need. Very large balcony. Only the kitchen lacked basic things (plates, dishes), so we didn't use it. It was great that we had breakfast and dinner included in the price. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is in a top location and a starting point for great walks, where there are many nice places nearby, where you don't need transportation. The pool was also a bonus.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly, the staff goes out of their way for the guests. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. I loved spending time by the pool bird watching. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Perfect spot for your stay in Tangalle! + The property itself is very well looked after, the rooms are clean and modern and very comfortable. The staff are amazing, always making an effort to ensure everything is perfect. A few times while outside they bought a fan and incense sticks to make the experience even better. The place is walking distance to the beach and town, I would thoroughly recommend staying here if looking to come to Tangalle!

What a gem! 6 delightful bungalows in a pretty garden with a good 16 metre pool that was 20 metres from the beach. A superb little restaurant. Helpful staff. A sublime stay.

Amazing place and value. Property was absolutely beautiful inside, gorgeous bathroom and shower, bed, and high ceilings. All so clean too. 2 pools to use and so close to Tangalle beach (2 mins walk). Sanju, the staff member who welcomed us and checked us out was very friendly and professional! A credit to the place. We wished we could have stayed here longer! Very satisfied customers.
