Hello and welcome everybody ! :-) We are Manuja and Marc and we are looking forward to welcome you in the wonderful MENAKA HOMESTAY ! Manuja is the brilliant cook and caretaker of the homestay. If you have any questions about anything, he will help you. If you like to make trips, finding nice places, climbing mountains, visiting temples, watching elephants and jaguars in the national parks, Manuja will show you how to find the most beautiful places. You need something special in Tangalle, Manuja will help you. He is there for you, whenever you need something. He knows very well about Tangalle and Sri Lanka and will do everything to give you a wonderful stay. Marc is Manujas friend from Austria. Together, they built the homestay and made this wonderful place. Marc is your contact person for your booking, for reservation and any special requests about your stay. He and Manuja give you the best, cheapest, fastest and most comfortable advices how to come from Colombos Bandaranaike International Airport to MENAKA HOMESTAY, for example. They make also the service to pick you up with car or tuktuk. Marc is like Manuja there for you, whenever you need anything :-)

To be honest, the MENAKA HOMESTAY is the most beautiful place in Tangalle and maybe throughout Sri Lanka :-) We offer four beautiful rooms with private bathroom and toilet. There is everything you need for a pleasant, beautiful and memorable stay. The breakfast is inkluded during your stay. In the middle of the house you will find a lounge with a sofa, armchairs and a table. The MENAKA HOMESTAY is surrounded by a beautiful garden with mango-trees, avocdo-trees and coconut palms. In the garden is a table with chairs, where you can eat your breakfast, your lunch and your dinner in a wonderful atmosphere and cooling shadow. For guests arriving with a car, there are two parking spots for free. Summarized you can say, the MENAKA HOMESTAY is the perfect place to spend woderful holidays closed to the beaches in Tangalle. We are also offering bicycles and scooters to rent for a cheap price ! If you like, we also offer you a great and memorable boat trip or boat trip with fishing. Feel like a Sri Lankan fisherman, and catch fishes for your lunch, dinner or BBQ :-) The price is very cheap comparing to other boat trip offers in the area ! For all the guests who like to cook by their own, you can use the kitchen for a cheap price. We are paying the gas with this money. We have also a good relationship to the gym-owner downtown and can offer our guests a cheap discount price, if you like to train and work-out in a gym !

The homestay is very closed to the beach. About hundred meters and you wil be on the most beautiful beach on earth. The indian ocean welcomes you with its warm and clear water. Under the palm trees, you will find a beautiful place to relax on the fine sand. If you walk in the other direction, you will be in the city-center of Tangalle in a few minutes. There are many nice stores, boutiques for fashion, supermarkets, a big open market for fresh food and the main bus-station of Tangalle. The gym you can use very cheap with discount, is also closed to the roundabout in the city-center. For nice trips, we recommend you for example the buddhist temples arround Tangalle, the Silent Beach and the Yala National Park with its wonderful nature and animals.
