The venue, arrangement, food and hospitality were all top tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

Wonderful experience! So lucky to have had this opportunity to stay with the Alwis family. Perfect for those looking for a comfy and hospitable experience. Very big room and fantastic views just outside of Kandy where you can see the beautiful greenery of the countryside. Meals can be arranged and cooked by the family which I must say was a shining example of how lovely the Sri Lankan cuisine is. Truly delicious every bite. The family are very social and can provide more insights about the local history/culture. Had a lot of fun discussions. Couldn't recommend any higher.

I was coming to Neela Weralu as a rest stop and reset and it did not disappoint! The scenery and pool are both gorgeous. The bed is so comfortable!! Both my breakfast and dinner were delivered to my room and were delicious. Staff were so friendly and drove me into Kandy to catch my bus which was so nice of them!!

I had the PREVILAGE to stay at Golf Resort Par 3, in the 3rd week of January 2026. If I am compelled to state briefly- then I would write that "staying at Golf Resort Par 3, can be termed as the next best thing to being in heaven." Everything about the place was exceptional. Clean, stylish, spacious comfortable room , the view off the room and the place was heavenly; the service beyond excellence with attentive and efficient staff and the meals offered were fresh and exotic. Unfortunately I had to leave the place to attend to certain other work, an act my wife and I regret very much . This is money's worth, and I would recommend the location to any traveler who wish to visit Digana, ( off Kandy) Sri Lanka. And if you are a golfer, you consider yourself the luckiest amongst all. The place offered us one of the best cups of tea we have ever had in our entire life !!! We had the opportunity to meet the Owner, and the young ,energetic and their very friendly Manager, Mr Ravan and the support staff as well. This place is must be the next best place to heaven. Its fully worth. Consider yourself being delt with a "Royal Flush" hand of cards... The place is worth for the money. There is no doubt of we re-visiting this place again. :) ps- When you patronize this place , remember to keep an extra day in your hand , to extend your stay.... as I can guarantee, you would feel sad, when you leave this place. Don't fail to communicate with their Manager Mr Ravana when you visit this location. He is in a different league on customer treatment and hospitality ... I have been to many places in the world, but yet to meet someone as this young chap.

We arrived quite late for check-in, but the manager waited patiently for us until 10 PM, which we really appreciated. Even though we were tired from traveling, he welcomed us with a warm cup of coffee—it was such a thoughtful gesture. The hospitality throughout our stay was truly wonderful. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with Roti, Chicken Curry, and Mushroom Curry was one of the tastiest meals we had on the trip. A simple, comfortable stay made special by genuine care.

Nalinda is a great host. He knows exactly what trekkers need. We were 6 hikers in 3 groups and he made a delicious and ample community dinner for all of us, catering for everyone's eating preferences (vegetarian etc). Since wifi doesn't even work well in that location, we had a great time chatting together over dinner. He also brought a huge breakfast because he knows stage 3 is a long one. Plus a hot shower and a clean room with comfy beds…couldn't ask for more. Def plan to stop here after Pekoe Trail Stage 2.
