Cheap hotels in Horta

Very comfy beds, nice view, good breakfast and the little details like handmade stickers on milk bottles and jam jars or nicely prepared table for the breakfast

Great location but you do need a car. It was easy to drive into Horta or hit the scenic roads to see the things on the island. One member of our group had to change plans, so there was plenty of space. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking other than reheating some left overs. It is close to a grocery store. There was great communication with the manager.

The view, the facilities, the style, the host - everything was great. There's a big garden and a terrace. Tiago, the host, was super friendly and helpful. He explained the ferry timetables and helped us with booking a taxi back to the airport. There was also a small welcome gift for us. Worth a special note: there's a washing machine with a drier, a wonderful thing for the winter months in the Azores.

The accomodation was in a great location and in easy walking distance for Horta. The accommodation was modern, clean and had an exception outdoor space with amazing views of Pico! The most valued and appreciated element was Victor, the host, who provided us with invaluable local knowledge on where to go, how to get there, what to eat and what not to miss!

Everything the property has everything you needed to feel comfortable really clean in the middle of the city great location.

Great location overlooking the marina in Horta. Huge, delicious breakfast. Easy walk to great restaurants.

This is our favourite hotel in Horta. It’s a grand, historic place that is also a landmark for the sea port. Home of the transatlantic cable, the flying clippers, and sailors from around the world. It’s our 3rd stay here, very consistent , great breakfast, and perfect views of the harbour. It’s close to the ferry terminal , and to the beautiful piers that berth some of the most loved tall ships. Service at the hotel is outstanding. And don’t forget to have a swim in the lovely pool (indoor and out). We are already looking forward to our next stay here. Thank you to all the staff.

Like was a place it's all I didn't know that's really calm down and in this hotels is really clean and you don't have too much noise and then you have breakfast in the morning and it's really cheap and people are really nice and good condition

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. It was very cozy, clean, had comfy beds, equipped kitchen and had everything you need. The atmosphere was very friendly. Especially the staff, senhora Anabela is very kind and greets everyone with a smile, always happy to help if you need anything. I actually went back to the hostel after my stay just to see the people I met there again :) The location is also good and central.

The hospitality and individual care and concern I was given at the Yurt campground was exceptional. The staff's main concern was making sure that I had everything I needed. They went above and beyond my expectations. The campground was also very clean and well-maintained. I have always wanted to stay in a Yurt and it did not disappoint. I stayed 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The campground is across the street from the beach in a very small, quiet and peaceful community. At night, the only things I could hearI were the sounds of the waves hitting the shore and the mating call of a local bird. I think the bird is a European Nightjar that breeds in May and early June. It was awesome! And though it was in the lower 50's (fahrenheit) and rainy, my Yurt and bedding kept me super warm and dry. I had some online work to do and the internet service was also exceptional. I never had an issue. I will definitely stay again if I ever get back to the Azores! I would love to share the experience with my family the next time.

The location is perfect. The place is very big and the staff were very helpful.

Super nice place and great value. very spacious and there is a garden at the front. super quiet and cozy. actually a bed room is on a road side so it can be a bit annoying in the night, but it didn't bother me at all. staff was very nice and helpful.
